THE PERSECUTED CHURCH

Born-again Bible believing Christians are being persecuted today like never before. Despotic governments, radical religious factions, and the Islamic beast continue their war on Jesus Christ by persecuting and murdering Christian believers in unprecedented numbers.
Many Christians are being tortured and killed, and in some places believers in the Lord Jesus Christ suffer crucifixion at the hands of Radical Islamists. So when you pray, please remember our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering horribly because of the rampant evil that is in the world.
It is getting worse and will continue to increase as time moves forward. In fact, many of these people think they are doing service to God by murdering Christians, just as Jesus predicted:
These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service
(John 16:2).
Radical Islam, like a spreading cancer, consumes all it touches. Unfortunately, (in the United States in particular) liberal (Progressive) politics and political correctness continue to hamper all efforts to deal with Islamic terrorists in an efficient and effective manner. It is quite clear that Islamic radicals understand only one thing–brutal force, and that is how it should be dealt with.
When any religion (deviant forms of Christianity included, e.g. the inquisition of Catholicism) evolves to the point that men, women, and children are being systematically and brutally tortured, mutilated, beheaded, crucified, and dismembered on the level that we are seeing today, it has moved beyond normal human sin into the level of depravity, which is driven by vicious, evil, spiritual forces.
From all appearances the spiritual floodgates are beginning to crack open, and it seems, at least in my opinion, that we may be entering into a time when the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit is lifting around the world.
“And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed (the Antichrist), whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders…” (2 Thessalonians 2:6-9).
I will be writing more on this in the near future, but in the meantime please pray for the persecuted church.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also (John 15: 18-23).
