And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven (Jesus Christ, Luke 21:11).

Before Jerusalem fell to the Roman army in A.D. 70 several historians took note that the skies over the city were filled with strange sights, and the Temple complex was also affected by unusual lights and eerie ghostly voices coming from the area near Great Altar. According to several ancient chroniclers that I looked at, the events Josephus wrote about in the following quotes took place during the year A.D. 66. Church historian Eusebius says these signs preceded the coming of the Roman war against the Jews. I believe it can be said that the Romans began to surround Jerusalem shortly after these signs were produced.

“Thus there was a star resembling a sword, which stood over the city, and a comet, that continued a whole year. Thus also before the Jews’ rebellion, and before those commotions which preceded the war, when the people were come in great crowds to the feast of unleavened bread, on the eighth day of the month Xanthicus, [Nisan,] and at the ninth hour of the night, so great a light shone round the altar and the holy house, that it appeared to be bright day time; which lasted for half an hour. This light seemed to be a good sign to the unskillful, but was so interpreted by the sacred scribes, as to portend those events that   followed immediately upon it.”

Now those that kept watch in the temple came hereupon running to the captain of the temple, and told him of it; who then came up thither, and not without great difficulty was able to shut the gate again. This also appeared to the vulgar to be a very happy prodigy, as if God did thereby open them the gate of happiness. But the men of learning understood it, that the security of their holy house was dissolved of its own accord, and that the gate was opened for the advantage of their enemies. So these publicly declared that the signal foreshowed the desolation that was coming upon them.”

“Besides these, a few days after that feast, on the one and twentieth day of the month Artemisius, [Jyar,] a certain prodigious and incredible phenomenon appeared: I suppose the account of it would seem to be a fable, were it not related by those that saw it, and were not the events that followed it of so considerable a nature as to deserve such signals; for, before sun-setting, chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were seen running about among the clouds, and surrounding of cities. Moreover, at that feast which we call Pentecost, as the priests were going by night into the inner [court of the temple,] as their custom was, to perform their sacred ministrations, they said that, in the first place, they felt a quaking, and heard a great noise, and after that they heard a sound as of a great multitude, saying, “Let us remove hence.”                    Josephus, Wars of the Jews, Book 6: 5:3. The Roman historian Tacitus also commented about these strange signs as well:

“13. Prodigies had occurred, but their expiation by the offering of victims or solemn vows is held to be unlawful by a nation which is the slave of superstition and the enemy of true beliefs. In the sky appeared a vision of armies in conflict, of glittering armour. A sudden lightning flash from the clouds lit up the Temple. The doors of the holy place abruptly opened, a superhuman voice was heard to declare that the gods were leaving it, and in the same instant came the rushing tumult of their departure. Few people placed a sinister interpretation upon this. The majority were convinced that the ancient scriptures of their priests alluded to the present as the very time when the Orient would triumph and from Judaea would go forth men destined to rule the world.” (Histories, Book 5, v. 13).

The church historian Eusebius reiterates the main sign: For before the setting of the sun chariots and armed troops were seen throughout the whole region in mid-air, wheeling through the clouds and encircling the cities. (Eusebius Church History, Book 3, chapter 8).

THE SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS

What are we to make of all this. If you are like me, I find it absolutely intriguing. Lets take another quick look at the signs.

  • A star that resembles a sword.
  • A comet that lasted for a year.
  • A strange bright light shining for a half hour around the altar and the Temple complex.
  • Heavenly chariots seen gathering over Jerusalem and the surrounding area among the clouds of the sky.
  • Heavenly beings with the appearance of human soldiers clothed in armor marching among the clouds over and around the city.
  • These heavenly chariots and armored soldiers appearing in the clouds of heaven over Jerusalem and many other cities in Israel.
  •  Tacitus adds that the soldiers in armor seemed to appear to be like armies gathered for a war or conflict in the sky.
  • An earthquake like shaking .
  • A loud noise, and a noise like a multitude of voices speaking at once.

Are these signs the very signs that Jesus spoke about? One thought that ran across my mind is that in the infinite mercy and grace of God he will send warnings of impending judgment. As I state in my book, Alien Antichrist, I do not believe God would set such a severe judgment in motion (in reference to the Tribulation and the Antichrist Beast), without warning His people, and the people of the Earth. God has indeed already warned the people of Earth through His Word, the Bible, but He also has a way of warning through various types of signs–strange signs.

Lets look at the prophecy of Jesus again:

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven (Luke 21:11). 

The part of this verse I want to focus on are the words, fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

The word phobētron only occurs one time in the New Testament (KJV). So it is not a common word. It is derived from another word phobeō (Strong’s G5399), which means to terrify or frighten; to be afraid, be struck with fear; to be seized with alarm. It is used to describe those startled by strange sights or occurrences.

  • Great signs, great (megas) signs, (Strong’s G4592 – sēmeion), referring to: a sign, prodigy, or portent, i.e., an unusual occurrence, transcending the common course of nature; of signs portending remarkable events soon to happen.

By these definitions it is easy to see that when prophetic signs in the heavens do begin to occur they are intended to get everyone’s attention; the sights and sounds, by their very nature something unusual, in other words, something so startling that it strikes terror in the heart of those who see it.

Luke 21:26: Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

The powers of heaven refers of course to the fallen powers that dwell in the heavens around the Earth, the satanic powers or fallen angels. We could also say that the powers of heaven shall be moved, or put in motion. In this case it is possible the fallen powers will be agitated to gather for war, possibly just like the powers were shaken, or called to arms during the intervening period of time before God sent the human armies of Rome as judgment against the rebellious nation of ancient Israel because they rejected their Messiah.

Luke 19:43-44: For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,  And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

What about us? The day of our visitation is here now, at this time, and has been since the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended like a mighty rushing wind that filled the house where the disciples were staying; He also visually manifested as cloven tongues of fire, resting upon the disciples.

What signs will we see in the heavens? Will we see armies gathered for war? Will we see chariots of fire running among the clouds of the sky? Will we see signs in the heavens such as the flaming sword that was seen by the citizens of Jerusalem?

Will we see armies and chariots of fire in the heavens, or are we already seeing these things with the modern manifestation of UFOs? Will these signs intensify and become more aggressive in the future? What about the strange noises people are hearing all over the globe? Will this intensify as well as we move forward into prophetic time?

I think we should realize that we are seeing all kinds of signs, but are we really seeing? Are we really listening?

Matthew 13:14-16:  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:  For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

It is interesting to note that before the Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem, Christians living in Jerusalem, and the surrounding area, actually left. According to historical writers, Eusebius and Epiphanius, they went to the other side of the Jordan River to a city named Pella.

“For when the city was about to be taken and destroyed by the Romans, it was revealed in advance to all the disciples by an angel of God that they should remove from the city, as it was going to be completely destroyed.”

“From there it took its beginning after the exodus from Jerusalem when all the disciples went to live in Pella because Christ had told them to leave Jerusalem and to go away since it would undergo a siege. Because of this advice they lived in Perea after having moved to that place, as I said.”

The people of the Church in Jerusalem were commanded by an oracle given by revelation before the war to those in the city who were worthy of it to depart and dwell in one of the cities of Perea which they called Pella. To it those who believed on Christ traveled from Jerusalem, so that when holy men had altogether deserted the royal capital of the Jews and the whole land of Judaea…”

Are you listening? You see, an important part of this lesson is that the disciples and others following Christ not only discerned the strange signs in the sky and around them. They also studied prophecy, and because of their knowledge of the words of Jesus, when they saw the armies of the heavens surround Jerusalem, they understood that it was time to flee just as Jesus said almost 40 years previous.

Luke 21:20-22:  And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.  Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.  For these be the days of vengeance (judgement)  that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Is it possible that we are nearing the days of vengeance in the 21st century? Are you listening?

THE STRONG DELUSION OF THE LAST DAYS by Jeff Wingo

It seems to me as I read the biblical prophets that they appear to be revealing to us that Earth history is about to be enhanced by a serious breach of the supernatural into our natural world.

While most people discount that anything exist other than the natural world, one day we may receive the shock of our lives. For when the dimensional portals split wide open, and tremendous beings of light step forth into the reality of our world, then atheists and agnostics will be shaken to the core from their spiritual slumber. Others, who hold to a pantheon of religious worldviews will interpret the event from their particular perspectives; and it is possible at this point that many Evangelical and other Christians (Catholics are currently being taught to accept the possibility of alien life, according to news I have read), will experience confusion because they did not diligently seek for guidance and direction from the Scriptures regarding end-times events as they should have.

I think that most people would agree that if the Great Tribulation turns out to be everything that Jesus said it will be, then it is apparent that something very significant is going to infringe upon the natural course of human events. All that I know is that I have come to understand from reading the biblical prophets that this extraordinary circumstance will surely jolt the people of the world into a new sense of reality.

Matt.24:21:  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Great Tribulation refers to a megas thlipsis, or a great distress, pressure, a pressing together; affliction, or oppression. {1} Obviously tribulation of that kind will come to pass through the human activities of war and its attendant evils, famine and disease; those things occur naturally through the human exercise of self-will and sin.

But there is an added element; that of the supernatural, which obviously refers to something beyond the normal course of natural events. Paul wrote about this when he said that “God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie” (2 Thess. 2:11). The English words shall send is the Greek word pempō which means to “bid a thing to be carried to one,” indicating that the delusion that will take place is the will of God, and that the delusion will be forcefully thrust upon the people of Earth. {2} Therefore, when this happens, it will be impossible to avoid it. In fact, no one on Earth will be able to escape from its overwhelming power.

What is it that God is going to thrust upon an unsuspecting world?

We must understand at this point that when this extraordinary event occurs, the natural course of events on Earth caused by human activity will be forever altered. In other words, we will never look at the world in the same way.

Looking at the text at 2 Thessalonians 2:11 we notice that the words strong delusion are the Greek words energeia plane which, in the New Testament, the word energeia only refers to the exercise of supernatural power by either God or the Devil; it never refers to human power. {4} In addition, the word plane refers to “a wondering or a straying about; one led astray from the right way, to roam hither and thither.” It can also refer to a “mental straying,” or something which “leads one into an error or a deception;” or an error regarding morality and religion. {5}

So, from all of this you can see that the strong delusion will be an extraordinary event–in fact it will be so powerful that it will affect the mind of every person on the planet. No one will escape, not even true Christians, those reborn or regenerated by the Spirit of God. How do we know this? Because Jesus said, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matt.24: 24).  As any word study on the word elect will reveal, the elect, in the New Testament, refers to those saved or born-again, in other words, the church or called out ones of the New Testament (1 Peter 1:2; Col. 3:12; Titus 1:1; 2 John 1:1, 13).

It is incredible that in the last days that even true believers in Christ may be deceived by this event. But, given the state of the church these days, and the level of discernment exercised by most Christians, I do not doubt that multitudes will be just as deceived by this supernatural event as the rest of the world.

This event will be a last days invasion of planet Earth by the supernatural enemies of both God and man. Indeed, this incursion from the spiritual dimension will be a thousand fold increase over the invasion of Earth by these same supernatural beings during the days of Noah; that invasion occurred according to the text at Genesis 6 when the sons of God  breached the dimensional veil and overran the antediluvian world. The end result of course was the destruction of the Earth and all living things by the devastating worldwide flood.

This event also occurred a second time on the post-flood plains of ancient Mesopotamia, possibly at the Tower of Babel, before the Lord shut the program down by confounding the language of man, and scattering the people to the far-flung reaches of the globe.

In both cases, the mercy of God toward humanity was in full force–but when the last invasion occurs, all of the restraints will be removed, and a torrent of evil will flood our world; then it will be just as Jesus said–it will be an era of evil that will be unlike any other period of time in all of the long tired history of planet Earth.

How do I know this? Paul continues in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2: “and then shall the wicked be revealed” (vs. 8).  the wicked of course refers to the Antichrist, the man of sin, the lawless one.

When he does step out of the spiritual dimension into our world Paul tells us that his “coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (vs.9).  This is where the word energeia comes into play. Remember, this word refers to the active, energetic working of power by either God or the Devil. In this case, Satan pours out his energeia without restraint through the Antichrist.

Imagine the horror of watching  the supernatural powers of Satan flow unrestrained over billions of people. What is even worse, because of the strong delusion released by Almighty God, the people of Earth will just fall in line lock-step to believe and follow Satan and the fallen angels. Incredibly, the people of Earth will worship Satan, and the Antichrist, as if they were almighty gods (Rev.13:4). In fact, most of the people of Earth will be led to believe (a mental straying, just as defined by Thayer), that these supernatural beings are the alien gods, nay, the ancient gods returning to Earth.

How do I know that Satan and the fallen angels will pretend to be alien beings? Several reasons led me to this conclusion.

1. The prophet Daniel says that the Beast will lead the people of Earth to worship an alien god (11:39–something strange; a strange being; an alien/foreign god) .

2. When Satan and the fallen angels are cast out of their spiritual domain I believe that it is possible they will appear as beings of light (2 Corth. 11: 14). During this initial invasion, the fallen angels could possibly descend in a shower-like rain upon Earth for days or even weeks (see Alien Antichrist page 177-178 for further elaboration.)

3. Revelation chapter 9 describes the descent of Satan to Earth. Once here he releases the Antichrist from the abyss. Then, an untold number of strange alien locust-like beings flood out upon the face of the earth to torment unbelieving mankind. Once this happens at a certain point four fallen angels chained at the Euphrates River will be released, possibly a dimensional portal will open and more demonic beings will invade Earth.

In all of this Paul reveals the clincher, the deal-maker on this for me.

2 Thessalonians 2:9:  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders…

Not only do we have the unrestrained release and exercise of all power through the working of the energeia of Satan, but something else, something startling.

Paul uses the Greek word sēmeion (Eng. signs) which means, “a sign, a mark, a token by which something is known; a sign, prodigy, portent, i.e. an unusual occurrence, transcending the common course of nature; of signs portending remarkable events soon to happen.  {6}

Paul also uses the Greek words, pseudos teras (Eng. lying wonders), which refers to, “conscious and intentional falsehood;  in a broad sense, whatever is not what it seems to be–exhibited for the treacherous purpose of deceiving men into the sin of idolatry (Thayer; pseudos); and teras, which refers to a sign, a prodigy, a portent; a miracle; a sign in the heavens, something so strange as to cause it to be watched or observed (Thayer).

That is why I believe the Bible is describing a false alien invasion during the last days. Everyone all over the world knows what UFOs and aliens are; and when I examine the power of the alien myth it leads me to the startling conclusion that when Satan and the fallen angels invade Earth; when these strange alien beings of light descend with all power, signs, and lying wonders, then billions of people will jettison whatever faith they may have had for a new faith, in new alien gods. The gods will have returned, just as almost every cultural myth promises. Except this time these fallen beings will be unrestrained, and make full use of the energeia plane of Satan.

The good news is that we do not have to be deceived by any of it. Jesus Christ will save anyone who calls upon Him. Just believe the gospel–He died, was buried, and three days later conquered the grave (1 Cor.15:1-4; Romans 10:9-10, 13). He is alive today seated at the right hand of the Father, ready to save you from the power of sin. Christ is our salvation, our shield, and our ever present help in a time of trouble.

UFOS IN THE BIBLE??? by Jeff Wingo

In my last post we looked at several Hebrew words from the vision of Ezekiel in the Bible. Although the words are used by the Prophet to describe a vision of the God of Israel, they are also very descriptive of the spiritual manifestations we call UFOs.

Please note: the following research is taken from my book, Alien Antichrist, The Terrifying Truth about UFOs and Aliens, Antichrist, and the End of Days, copyright© Jeffrey A. Wingo, 2014.

The Hebrew word laqach for instance, refers to light that flashes about as lightning. It is a mass of fire rolling and folding upon itself; it is also described as a great sphere of rolling fire, or a great circle of light. {2}

Chashmal describes a shining metallic substance, electrum, or bronze; also described as brass which is made smooth, or polished. {3} The English word color is the Hebrew ayin which refers to the eye, but also is figuratively used to describe the mental and spiritual faculties, the eyes of the mind, or the faculty of knowing. {4}

All of this can be misinterpreted of course, but what I am referring to are the powers used by spiritual beings (both holy angels and fallen angels). Both types of beings use spiritual power that can manifest in our dimension of time and space in similar ways, it all depends on the source and motivation. Of course the unfallen angels use their power to serve God, and to bring glory to Him as a witness before sinful man. The fallen angels of course use similar power in an abusive and corrupt fashion, and always with the motivation to denigrate God, and deceive mankind.

For example, while the vision of Ezekiel describes a rolling fire that is folding upon itself colored by various hues of the spectrum, the same manifestation produced by a fallen angel could produce a ring of light in our atmosphere that appears metallic; essentially a metallic circle of light, and that describes a UFO.

This is further illustrated by the wheels within a wheel described by Ezekiel. The English wheel is derived from the Hebrew word owphan which describes a wheel or a chariot wheel, and this is related to an unused root meaning to revolve. {5}

Ezekiel's_Wheel_John_KratovoThe wheels are also identified by the Hebrew word galgal at Ezekiel 10:2, which indicates a whirling wheel implying quick revolution. {6} “The whirling wheel within a wheel also has a type of hub called a gab. {7} The gab is described as a ring like part of the wheel-shaped with a convex surface; it has an exterior shell curved outward like an arch or a bow; and this ring is a part of the wheel and ‘by analogy (on) the top or rim.” {8}

As I state in my book, I realize the last description sounds eerily similar to the description of a UFO–a round circular craft with a domed top. We have to remember that these words are used by Ezekiel to describe a vision he saw of the glory of God. But what does that reveal? It reveals that spiritual powers, whether fallen or unfallen can manifest in our dimension of time and space in a variety of ways. “Both kinds of angels (fallen and unfallen) seem to have the same power at their disposal, and both seem to be able to create similar manifestations–rings of fire or pulsating light, and metallic circular craft with whirling wheels and a convex domed top! The holy angels use this power to serve God and the fallen angels use this power to serve their own purpose–which seems to be to deceive mankind and condition or acclimatize the human mind to accept these spiritual manifestations as proof that aliens exist in the universe.” {9}

“These manifestations are powerful and it is no wonder that many people who have seen them believe that they represent an alien intelligence. I have seen several UFOs myself, although when I have seen them there have always been other witnesses. I have seen the orb UFOs–they appear like an orb of light flying across the night sky. They can break apart into multiple objects, blend back together, fly several thousand miles per hour, stop on a dime, or instantly change direction, and vanish without a trace–all of which are impossible with human produced aircraft.

I have seen strange lights at night on several occasions as I was driving across the Arizona and Nevada deserts–were they UFOs–I don’t know, those were a little more difficult to pinpoint; I was unable to identify what the objects were, and they could have been military aircraft or drones of some type.

I also witnessed (again, in the presence of other credible people) a small airplane that was being chased by a UFO–I could tell that the pilot was trying to maneuver away from the object, and yet the object kept placing itself in front of the airplane, and at times circling it (this went on for over twenty minutes). Then, just as suddenly as it appeared, the object vanished–right into thin air! How else do you explain such a thing?

Yes, there are UFOs, real authentic spiritual manifestations that suddenly and mysteriously appear in our atmosphere–too many credible people have seen them to discount every sighting. Yes, objects are misidentified, that happens a lot, and yes, there are hoaxes. But there are just too many credible reports to discount the whole phenomena.

ALIENS, UFOS, AND MYSTERY BABYLON by Jeff Wingo

There are many things in this world that appear to be mysterious. However, one thing that is not mysterious is the Christian message; it was meant to be openly shared, proclaimed, and published all over the world. Indeed, it is the message for all people for all time.

When Paul was speaking before  King Agrippa and Festus he said (referring to the gospel), “For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner” (Acts 26:26).

But one thing that is certain is that hidden mysteries abound in world culture, religion, and secret societies. In fact, in Paul’s day there were many mystery religions, and these still exist in modified forms today.

In Paul’s day the mystery religions intentionally kept hidden from public view their various cult secrets and mysteries; these were only reserved for the initiated; and that is also how most religions and secret societies function today.

The mysteries of the cult are intentionally kept hidden from the outside world and revealed only to initiates, usually in piecemeal fashion. And in most cases the deep secrets of the cult are only revealed to a trusted few, the Adepts, or those few at the top who attain a specific level of secret hidden occult mastery and knowledge. The Adepts of todays mystery religions are the masters of their various secret societies; they are the  gatekeepers or rulers who use the lower level initiates like cattle–that’s why the lower level initiates are intentionally kept in the dark regarding the real secrets and agenda of the group.

The Bible reveals that in the end of days a mystery will emerge from the shadows and reveal itself before the entire world. Indeed, this will be an all consuming mystery and most of the people of Earth will blindly follow its rituals and dogma–simply because they are spiritually blind as to its true purpose.

The Apostle John is shown an astonishing vision. As most of you know, it is a vision of a religious entity that will emerge in the last days; it is truly the unveiling of pure evil, the horrible glory of a satanic religion that will merge with the Antichrist Beast in order to conquer the entire planet.

Mystery Babylon will encompass all of the hidden evil that exists in the world. It will be a satanic masterpiece implemented by the precise and meticulous planning of Satan, along with the willing assistance of fallen men and women who are usually of great influence and power in the world. Indeed, the pieces of Mystery Babylon are almost together as it manifests  all over the world in various ways; through religion, the New Age Movement, many occult groups and secret societies, the hidden agenda of world bankers and industrialists, and world leaders, despots, and a multitude of iron-fisted dictators.

Mystery Babylon manifest in the philosophical and ideological spheres of power and education, and the half-dozen or so media empires that rule the world through thousands of TV channels, movies, books, magazines, and the worldwide web.

One of the manifestations of Mystery Babylon, one that is a very integral component of the satanic end-game, are UFOs and aliens. They will be a major player as the dark pieces of the New World Order coalesce, in fact, UFOs and aliens will lead the world to fully accept the NWO and its later manifestation, Babylon the Great (see Revelation chapters 17 and 18).

It is my opinion that UFO and alien disclosure will force the world toward the formulation of Babylon the Great. The spiritual war is about to radically change as the billions on Earth are confronted with the new reality that an advanced extraterrestrial civilization does indeed exist. That my friends will be the game changer as the people of Earth come to terms with the fact that humans are not the most advanced beings in the universe (this will be an incredibly powerful deception, without the Bible and the Holy Spirit few will be able to see through it).

The tragic reality however is that most people will simply accept the aliens at face value; it will never dawn on them that they are fallen angels in the flesh, and that they actually represent one of the most dangerous forces in the universe; they are the spiritual enemy of mankind and the alien end-game is to destroy humanity and ultimately prevent the Second Coming of Christ from taking place.

Sadly, many people who profess Christianity will accept the alien visitors as well because spiritual discernment, more often than not, doesn’t exist in most churches these days. The proof of that last sentence is found in the fact that spiritual apostasy is marching through most Christian churches and seminaries today just like the legions of Titus breached the walls of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. and pulled down both the city and the Temple to the foundation stones.

Even though the Bible holds the key to understanding the end-times, it is an appalling tragedy that most Christians these days don’t read the Bible, and in most churches you would be hard pressed to find a Bible in the pews (or seats) or even anyone carrying a Bible to church.

The key to spiritual discernment is the Bible. God has provided everything that we need to understand the last days before the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Within the pages of your Bible you will find comfort in a time of need, correction for a wayward life, assurance of forgiveness of sin and eternal life through the Son of God, as well as protection from apostasy and spiritual deception. The Holy Spirit will use the Bible to comfort and guide us as we face the end of days; and He will enable us to face the rising tide of evil that is about to sweep over this world with the force of a destructive Tsunami.

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.”   Luke 17:26

EBOLA.  The word itself is frightening once we grasp the terrifying consequences that await the poor victims of this horrific plague. Thousands of people in the countries of West Africa are suffering and dying and thousands more may perish before it is over. And now, because of the neglect of the Obama Administration, Ebola is part of the United States, and more than likely will hit Europe as well. Unfortunately, the open border policies of the President and his Administration will end with disastrous results for the people of the United States if the plague is not contained quickly enough.

Controls could have been implemented months ago but now it is too late. And as quickly as Ebola can spread, thousands of Americans may die because of the neglect and inept policies of President Obama. Washington, Jefferson, and Madison would be rolling over in their graves if they could see what America has become in the last 25 years.

Wars, rumors of war, famine, plagues and pestilence, are making their terrible presence known in various places around the world. This situation has always been the lot of humanity, but is something looming that is even larger?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Humanity has always suffered through war, plagues and pestilence, and famine. That comes with living in a fallen world. But the prophetic difference is when these things become a global phenomena.

What Jesus predicted, and the scenario presented in the book of Revelation and the other prophetic writings of the Bible, are pandemics on a global scale, where millions, even several billion people may die.

Consider for a moment Revelation 9:14:  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

According to this one prophecy over 2.3 billion people will be consumed by war.

Or, consider Luke 21:14:  And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

The biblical signs of the end are:

1. Worldwide war driven by powerful fallen angelic forces.

2. Great earthquakes, the Greek is megas seismos which means, “violent, mighty, and strong;” a violent shaking {2} in divers or many places, i.e., spread all over.

3. Pestilences or plagues spreading throughout a population. In this case, all over the world in many different places at once or one after another.

4. Fearful sights, or “that which strikes terror” or fear {3}, and great signs, “a sign, prodigy, portent, i.e. an unusual occurrence, transcending the common course of nature” {4}; signs indication that remarkable events are about to happen.

When you begin to see more of these things happen in close succession pay attention, because that is what Jesus was talking about, especially the fearful signs from the heavens. And what could be more frightening than an invasion by powerful supernatural beings. Fallen angels who pretend to be aliens and UFOs, enlightened beings from another planet or galaxy.

THE GOOD NEWS:

If you are a Christian then you may rest assured that the Lord Jesus will be with you through all of this. Whether it’s the powerful deception of aliens and UFOs, or the deadly Ebola virus, or famine, or sword. The Holy Spirit said through the Apostle Paul:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written,  For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39

For the Christian, the Lord Jesus Christ is our hope, our steadfast anchor in the storm, our Good Shepard in the Valley of Darkness, our redeemer from all of our sin, our friend that sticks closer than a brother, our covering and shelter!

For those of you who do not yet know Christ as a redeemer and a savior just know this: God loves you and provided for you through His Son, Jesus. Come to believe the Gospel-repent and turn to the only hope we have in this dark world.

And the Gospel is this: Christ died for our sins, and was buried and rose again from the dead (1 Cor.15:1-4).  If you believe the gospel, trusting that God will do what He says he will do–He will forgive your sins, save you, and give you the gift of eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  John 3:16-17

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

CONTACTING ALIENS: THE LIES THAT MEN BELIEVE AND THE TRUTH THAT MUST BE TOLD Part 2 by Jeffrey A. Wingo

In my last post I touched briefly on the spiritual nature of the UFO phenomena.  This is important to understand because it presents the answers to a very intriguing mystery which is actually the very heart of the entire UFO enigma: Aliens as depicted in our culture do not exist, and UFOs are not intergalactic craft. They are both the result of the spiritual activity of the fallen ones.

UFOs and aliens are a spiritual phenomena used by fallen angels to psychologically and spiritually manipulate human society; and the end result of this will be a massive spiritual deception. Indeed, even Jesus Christ warned us that the end of days would be characterized by spiritual deception.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if (it were) possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Matthew 24:24

I am not a prophet, and I certainly make no claims to fully understand  the future regarding aliens and alien disclosure,  but here are some things that you may see happen in the near future when alien disclosure does take place:

Do not be surprised when you hear a “credible” news report stating that SETI, NASA, or some other organization involved with the government has officially made contact with an extraterrestrial civilization. I am of the opinion that it will happen, it’s just a matter of when it will occur.

When this story breaks you will see that Vatican astronomers (Jesuits) are heavily involved, because currently they are at the forefront of the search for intelligent extraterrestrial life.  They already see themselves as the mediators between God and man (this is a false doctrine which I will address shortly–see note 1 below), and as such they will position themselves as the mediator between aliens and humans.

Leaders from every major religion will confirm that faith in God (or a higher power) will be compatible with this new discovery. They will say such things as, “after all, every creature in the universe was created by God. The aliens are fellow creatures and Sons of God along with the rest of creation.”

The aliens will claim to be “higher beings” (as the result of spiritual and physical evolution), and indeed they may appear as beings of light. That is a major part of the deception. But the Bible has already warned us that Satan  and the other fallen angels can manipulate their appearance and appear as beings of light (or enlightened beings bringing new knowledge just as they did in the Garden–Genesis 3).

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14
These “beings of light” will teach doctrines that are contrary to the doctrines found in the Bible. In fact, because of verses such as Matthew 24:24, I am of the opinion that the aliens will possess supernatural power and they will pass it off as “superior technology.” Their power and presence will convince many that the Bible is wrong, and many will turn from the faith (the great falling away that the Apostle Paul addressed in 2 Thessalonians 2:3).
 
Because most scientists are agnostic or atheists they will be deceived by the aliens. Without the protection of the Holy Spirit and Scripture they will be especially vulnerable because they desire “knowledge” and access to new and exciting technologies. They will interpret the miraculous powers of the aliens through a materialistic, natural worldview, which discounts any possibility of a spiritual explanation.
 
Because most of the people who work in the media reject Christ and the Bible they also will be vulnerable to this deception. They will not be able to discern the true source of the preternatural abilities of the aliens.
 
Without a spiritual explanation humanity will collectively “fall” a second time for a satanic counterfeit because they long for the wrong type of knowledge and power. The Serpent will indeed reveal new secrets about the universe, and these new revelations will destroy humanity in a spiritual deluge of epic proportions.
 
When alien disclosure does happen that should be a key indication to Christians that something of a deep spiritual nature is taking place. For it will reveal that spiritual communication with demons is no longer hidden in the shadows. Indeed, the veil between dimensional realities will be torn open and reveal a new form of life to humanity, one with great knowledge and power. 
 
Man desires knowledge and power above all things. Equipped with knowledge and power humanity will believe that they can overcome the problems that currently plague the world, and rebuild the world into a New Age utopia, without God, because many will believe that they are God (or, all collectively are God).
 
Many songs of the 1960’s carried a theme just below the surface, and that is a desire, a striving for hope and freedom that can only be found if  mankind could find a way to return to the Garden of Eden. A short line from the Woodstock song written in 1970 by Joni Mitchell says, “…and we’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden…”. {2}  That is the cry of the human heart, to return to a place of freedom and purity.
 
But most people want a garden of their own making, and the refuse to accept immortality on the terms that God set forth in the New Testament through His Son Jesus Christ. They want a form of immortality without God, because they have come to believe that they are God, or a god (of some type).
 
I would be willing to wager that when alien disclosure does happen, and the aliens reveal themselves to mankind, that they will tell the people of Earth what they want to hear–“you are already god, you are gods, and we are here to prepare you spiritually to enter into the galactic community.” (Note: this is a constant theme in most cults and false religious systems, even in some versions of so-called Christianity today–the little gods doctrine of the Word Faith and other cultic parts of the church).
 

The “aliens” will promise humanity knowledge, power, wealth, and especially the gift of immortality. But beware, the lies of demons come with a steep price, namely your soul, through the image of the Beast and the mark of the Beast.

 
If you are not sure of your spiritual destiny then realize that without Christ you have no hope and if you will accept the Son of God He will set you free. It’s a gift made available from God to you through His Son Jesus Christ. If you believe the Gospel, that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave on the third day, you can be saved. It’s a gift received by faith and grace alone.
 
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:9-10,13).

MIND CONTROL IN THE NEW WORLD ORDER by Jeffrey A. Wingo

We face many dangers today. Terrorism, anarchy, lawlessness, disease, and pestilence are among just a few of the evils that are ravaging the world at present.  Many people are suffering because of economic chaos and a very sluggish economic recovery;  and worse, much worse, many are suffering because of war and its attendant evils.  Christians are especially marked out for persecution with modern-day crucifixion and beheadings;  the raw brutal butchery of Christian men, women, and children continues to rage on in the Middle East and in other parts of the world because of despotic governments, religious factions, and the terrible march of the Islamic beast.

Unfortunately, those murdering Christian families and destroying centuries old Christian culture believe they are serving God by doing so.  Jesus told us this would happen in the last days as the spiritual war ramps up and begins to manifest itself in unbelievably horrific ways.

“These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.  They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.  And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me” (John 16:1-3).
Those perpetrating this great evil are thoroughly deceived by a satanic delusion.  They have been indoctrinated into a powerful cult and their mind and body have been given over and enslaved by satanic forces to do terribly evil things all in the name of a false religion and a deceptive ideology. It is almost unbelievable that the human mind can completely yield to evil in this way, and be so given over to the dark forces that rule the age. Once evil powers control a person in this manner that man (or woman) can perform cruel sadistic acts against other human beings without thought or one bit of conscience.  But we have seen this before: The Nazis, the ravages of Communism and its inherit brutality, and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia are just a few examples that come to mind.
 
The New World Order will satanically enslave mankind as it molds and shapes humanity into a mirror image of the Dragon. Indeed,  humanity is being led to the Dragons lair, Babylon the Great.
Behind the scenes the New World Order is continuing to coalesce as the power Elite, openly and in stealth, labor to blend the economic, political, and religious spheres of influence into a one world system of manipulation, control, and slavery. This will all lead eventually to the image and mark of the Beast.
As I wrote in my book, Alien Antichrist, the image of the Beast will be a spiritual experience utilized to enslave the minds of billions of people. The one forgotten component of Bible prophecy is the free and open exercise of  raw satanic power that will be used once the restrainer is removed.
“And now ye know what withholdeth (restrains) that he might be revealed in his time.  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let (he who now restrains will restrain), until he be taken out of the way” (2 Thess.2:6-7).
Unbeknown to them, the power Elite of the current world system (some called them the Illuminati) are already enslaved by their master Satan to serve as his instrument to implement the NWO. The great masses of humanity (many of them kept in ignorance and poverty by corrupt and evil despotic governments and various systems of religion; and the media empires that already rule the thoughts and actions of billions of people) will follow the herd over the abyss into a satanic one world system called “Babylon the Great” (Rev.18).
This system will morph into a complete totalitarian cult with the Beast at the center and his image and mark will be the entry point for complete satanic control of the human mind. Once a person receives the image of the Beast there is no turning back, no second chance, and according to the biblical text, no forgiveness, no grace, and no mercy, from the Throne of Almighty God.
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name” (Rev. 14:9-11).

 Have you ever wondered, what is it about the image and mark of the Beast that so affects a person that once it is received there is no hope of forgiveness or the possibility of repentance?  Could it be that the image and mark so taint the mind and body that God considers a person marked in this way to be spiritually and physically ruined?  In my book, Alien Antichrist, I explain the process that takes place in the human mind. The image is such a powerful experience that it creates a type of emotional bonding to the Antichrist Beast. Consequently, the mark will be seen as something to be desired!

Again, as I said before, I believe that one of the overlooked aspects of Bible prophecy, especially as it relates to Antichrist, is the shear exercise of raw satanic power that will manifest during the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation. In this case the image of the Beast will overwhelm and flood the thought processes of the human mind. Once it is received there is no escape. In fact, it is possible that the image leads to the mark of the Beast in some way. The image captures the human mind which leads to the mark.

Think about this: is it possible that the creation of the image in the human mind may lead to the manifestation of the mark in the flesh? That is something to think about.

A word of warning about satanic mind control

The image of the Beast is total mind control. And once the image taints the mind, and the flesh is marked in the right hand or forehead, a person so marked will respond to the satanic stimuli provided by the False Prophet. I am of the opinion that this spiritual stimulation will cause a person to feel a compulsion (like thirst) to the worship the Beast. In turn this will lead humanity to yield completely to Satan and his dark forces. That is why I said in an earlier post, and in my book, Alien Antichrist, that humanity will be used by Satan and his fallen hosts as a pawn or useful idiot in a final mad attempt to prevent the Second Coming of Christ.

It is also worth noting  that it is possible the mark of the Beast is related in some way with the DNA of the Beast. In other words if genetics does play a part in the mark of the Beast (because the aliens will offer to upgrade the DNA of humans in order to provide, dare I say it, eternal life), then humans marked with the DNA of the Beast will be forever tainted by the corruption of their flesh. And the humans so marked will be cast into the lake of fire where they will be forever genetically linked with their master, the Antichrist Beast!

Now you know why God might consider a person who receives the image and mark to be spiritually and physically tainted, hence no redemption.

DECEPTION, CROP CIRCLES, AND THE ALIEN AGENDA by Jeffrey A. Wingo

I just wanted to write a quick post regarding deception, especially as it relates to the alien agenda. Many people are enthralled by the mystery and intricacy of crop circles. I would like to say that I believe that crop circles are created not by aliens or UFOs, but humans. Here is what I mean. The linked article is to a corn maze featuring the face of Al Roker. Look at the detail. This corn maze is no more complicated than the most celebrated crop circle out there! Don’t be fooled by disinformation. Not all activity that claims to be paranormal is. There are a lot of hoaxes–the truth is “out there” its just hard to sift the wheat from the chaff sometimes!
