So far, in this series we have looked at the various biblical links to the number of the Beast, 666, and in doing so we have discovered along the way that the Bible alone holds the key to the hidden meaning behind the number of the Beast. Thus, as we have discovered, biblical revelation sets us free from the useless speculation surrounding the number of the Beast; the Lord has not given us vital information that we need for the last days and then left us to the mercy of the tide!

Thankfully, in the last days before His return, the Lord Jesus is revealing the biblical meaning of this mystery to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church (Mark 4:9, 23; 7:16; Revelation 2:7, 11, 17; 2:29; 3:13,22; 13:9).

As we have learned, there are some very interesting correlations between the number 666 and its meaning. When John wrote the verse, he intended that we would use wisdom as we examine the biblical text for clues that reveal the meaning behind the infamous number. In this way, we will count (biblically) the number of the Beast to discover what John meant when he said the number of the Beast is, “the number of a man.”

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (Revelation 13:18).

In earlier segments of this series (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5), we discovered the biblical link to King Solomon and the number of the Beast, as well as the link between 666 and the evil apostasy Solomon brought upon the nation of Israel near the end of his rule.

The Bible clearly testifies that Solomon abandoned the God of Heaven for the occult gnosis or hidden knowledge of the god of this world, Lucifer, the Light-Bearer. The Apostle Paul warned us about the abilities of Lucifer/Satan to alter his appearance so that his doctrines appear to be biblical doctrine.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14: ).

As most of you know, Lucifer and his fallen angels still come to humans as angels of light. They hide evil behind “the light” and bring secret gnosis or forbidden knowledge that appeals to “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” (1 John 2:16).

The Serpent and his servants entice humans to pluck the fruit of Antichrist from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. In the end, the fruit he offers is actually bitter poison. It destroys our relationship with God, with other people, and always leads to a very bitter end for many, not just in this world, but in eternity as well.

AN ANCIENT SIGNPOST FLASHING 666

Before the ancient Israelites entered the Promised Land, Moses sent twelve spies to examine the land and its inhabitants (Numbers chap.13, 14). God promised Israel a land flowing with milk and honey, which is a way of saying that the land is overflowing with blessing, bounty, and plenty. As discovered by the twelve spies however, thousands of giants occupied the land; the remnants of post-flood (second) incursion of the wicked offspring of the fallen Sons of God and the daughters of men (Genesis 6: 1-4).

After the twelve spies returned from exploring the land, ten of the men brought an evil report that discouraged the majority of the children of Israel from entering the land. The ten unbelieving spies refused to believe that God would help them conquer the giants and take the land.

As many of you know, because of unbelief God banished this faithless generation to wander in the wilderness for forty years, until every faithless Israelite died. What a tragic judgment, a testimony we should heed lest we fail the grace of God and end up faithless (1 Corinthians 10:5; Hebrews 3: 8-12). In the end, their children entered the land and conquered the Nephilim giants under the leadership of Joshua.

One of the twelve spies was a man by the name of Sethur, and his father’s name was Michael. It is here in the book of Numbers that we see another clue revealing 666, the number of the Beast. Remember, it is the number of a man, so here is another man with a connection to the number 666.

Numbers 13:13: Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael.

According to Dr. Adam Clark, the Hebrew name Sethur equals 666: This is the one place in the Bible, where the gematria works out to number. As strange as it seems, once we examine the meaning of the name, it will become abundantly clear why the Holy Spirit placed this signpost in the ancient book of Numbers.

The Hebrew name Cĕthuwr (Sethur) means, “Hidden, to hide, conceal, mysterious.” The name also means, “destroying.” {1} Furthermore, the father of Sethur is a man named Michael, which means, “Who (is) like God.” {2}

Taking all of this into consideration, and placing the clues side by side, the name Sethur and his father Michael suggest “the hidden one, the destroyer, who is like God.” {3}

Apollyon/Abaddon, the Beast from the abyss also means Destroyer (Rev. 9:11). He is the hidden one, because he is currently in the prison of Tartarus, deep in the Earth (Revelation 11:7; 17:8; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6—pgs. 129-132, Alien Antichrist). His name means Destroyer, and he desires to be like God. {4}

Another clue is found at Ezra 2:13: “The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.”

This verse (about another man) is from a listing of families who are returning to Jerusalem from Babylon after the 70-year captivity. It seems so strange to have information about the number 666 at this point in Scripture, but there is a very good reason it is here.

The first clue is the city of captivity, Babylon. According to the Bible, Babylon the Great is the city of captivity during the Great Tribulation (see Revelation chapter 18). In addition, a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem will one day be the focal point of the entire world when the Antichrist Beast enters the sacred precincts of the Temple, proclaims that he is God, and demands worship from the people of Israel and the entire world.

The name Adonikam means “a lord rising up,” or a lord risen. {5} According to Dr. John Gill, “The number of Adonikam’s posterity is 666, Ezr. 2:13; whose name signifies “a lord rising up”, or “risen”; and suits very well with antichrist, who is risen up, and assumes a lordly domination over the kings of the earth.” {6} When we place all the clues side by side, we find they point directly at Apollyon/Abaddon, the Beast from the abyss.

A Babylonian Lord Rising up, the Hidden One, the Destroyer, Who is like (or desires to be like) God.

“It is very clear that all of this points to Apollyon the Beast from the abyss. At present, he is hidden away in Tartarus. His name means destroyer, and he desires to be like God. In his former days he was the king of Babylon, and when he is released from the abyss he will once again assume that title and position as the king of an Empire called Babylon the Great.” From Alien Antichrist by Jeffrey A. I believe this is what John meant when he said to count the number of the Beast. All of these clues, hidden deep in the pages of the Bible, your Bible, reveal the meaning behind the number 666 and point directly to the identity of the Antichrist Beast. This is what John meant when he said:

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (Revelation 13:18).

By now, it should be abundantly clear that all of the information in this series of articles reveals the identity of the Antichrist as the Beast from the abyss (Revelation 9:11). I realize this may not satisfy every person out there, but the information I have given you is BIBLICAL, that is what is most important. There is too much information out there based on speculation and opinion, therefore, my point is that we need to get back to the Word of God, the Bible.

Also, please note that all of my information comes from the authorized King James Bible, so if you are using a modern translation you may discover that some of this information you will not find in some new translations. I am not “King James Only” and I am certainly not legalistic about Bible versions; but if you do some checking you may find that the old venerable King James Bible was put together by godly, scholarly, men who translated the Bible using very strict protocols. They did not play linguistic gymnastics as some scholars have done with most of the modern versions–just my opinion, yours may differ on this subject!

In my previous three posts, 666: Calculating the Number of the Beast Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3, we learned that when king Solomon abandoned God he became a biblical type of the Antichrist. Continuing with the story of Solomon, we see the symbolism of the number 666 revealed in his life. At the beginning of his reign, God blessed Solomon with supernatural wisdom and everything he would need to rule Israel. However, later in his life Solomon turned from the Lord God and began to serve the god of this world. Through Solomon the backslidden king of Israel, the Bible unfolds the mystery of the enigmatic symbolism of 666, the number of the Beast.

2 Chronicles 9:13: Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold.

Solomon became unbelievably wealthy through heavy taxation, exploitation of natural resources, the liberal use of free labor, conscripted servants, and others subject to his authority (1 Kings 4:21; 5:13-18; 9:20-21; 10:21-23 ).

Gold and other precious resources poured into Solomon’s coffers, and all of this in spite of the Law, which stated that the king was not to multiply horses, gold or silver, or wives. Solomon abandoned God for the world system, accumulating wealth and power in direct defiance of the Covenant Law and this led to his downfall (Deuteronomy:16-17).

Furthermore, he sought to secure political alliances with nearby pagan monarchs by marrying their royal daughters. (Deut. 17: 18-20). Once Solomon sought to please his foreign wives more than God, he abandoned the God of Israel, and the ungodly rites of pagan idolatry filled the ensuing spiritual vacuum. His carnal example caused the people of Israel to backslide from the temple worship of Yahweh and they fell into licentious idol worship, including ritual child sacrifice. That situation lasted centuries, and had devastating long-term consequences for the nation of Israel (1 Kings 11:1-10).

As the story of Solomon demonstrates, the Bible associates the number 666 with the wealth and power of the world system. The apostle John warns us not to love the antichrist world system. Indeed, according to John if we love the world, and all the things it offers, then the love of the Father is not in us (1 John 2:15). If you look at the verse in context, I believe it proves that loving the things of the world system will lead you away from God and into the open arms of Antichrist (1 John 2:18).

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time (1 John 2:15-18).

Those who fully embrace the antichrist world system will, in the end, reject the God of heaven and naturally accept the doctrines of Antichrist, which naturally leads one into various forms of idol worship. How many of us have read stories in the news about famous people who claim they have made a “deal with the devil,” in order to gain wealth, fame, and power? I would not take these stories lightly because the Bible provides an example of this very thing—when Satan offered Jesus the kingdoms of the world.

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve (Matthew 4: 8-10).

Of course, Jesus rejected the offer but many famous men and women in New York and Hollywood enthusiastically embrace Satan’s proposition. He provides them many opportunities (and piles of money) to create endless hours of anti-Christian entertainment, which influences the masses to follow them down the Broadway, the Yellow Brick Road to hell (Matthew 7:13).

In the past few years, WikiLeaks revealed that several high level political figures attend ritual ceremonies (a form of witchcraft) called “spirit cooking” dinners (if you can call it that), evidently to enhance their career though occult means. Politicians, lobbyists, and other interested parties gain power and wealth as long as they submit to witchcraft ceremonies and promote antichristian policies and destructive satanic laws for the United States and the nations of the world. Religious leaders love worldly accolades too; they are especially adept as they preach and teach the doctrines of devils, in turn leading billions of unsuspecting souls down the Broadway of destruction.

Could that be why Jesus said, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:26)?

In the future kingdom of the Beast, we see 666 linked with gold and the economic prosperity of the satanic world system. Without the Mark of the Beast, a person cannot buy or sell, or hold a job.

Rev. 13:16-17: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The number 666 closely linked with great wealth and economic control for everyone, the great and the small—meaning, the rich and powerful, the poor, the average blue-collar worker, and the busy executive. In order to work, or buy goods and services a person must yield their soul to the image and mark of the Beast. Just as Solomon abandoned God, so a person in Babylon the Great will eventually forsake God for the gold of the Beast (see Daniel chapter 4)—the mark of his name (666), and the image, which is an occult initiation. As I demonstrate in my book, Alien Antichrist, the image of the Beast is an occult initiation that leads to Beast worship. The image imprints the mind with a living image of the Beast (possibly as a luminescent being of light, a “spirit guide”), and the mark identifies a person as the property of both the Beast and the empire of Babylon the Great.

As in Solomon’s kingdom, ritual human sacrifice will be commonplace in Babylon the Great. Solomon’s idols were Ashtoreth, Milcom, Chemosh, demon gods that demanded worshippers to commit depraved immoral acts such as ceremonial immorality and ritual human sacrifice.

Likewise, in Babylon the Great, a kingdom which requires the souls of men and the blood of the prophets and saints of Jesus (Rev. 18:13, 24), the Antichrist Beast will make war against the saints and will overcome or conquer them (Rev. 13:7; Daniel 7:21). Daniel 8:24 says the Beast will corrupt and destroy the “mighty and the holy people.”

According to Revelation 11: 7 “the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them (Christians, the saints), and shall overcome (kill) them.” The Bible is explicit as it describes this dark time, when the cult of the Beast will rule the world and test the saints of God (Rev.13:10, 15). The apostle Peter must have had this in mind when he said, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you (1 Peter 4:12). The antichrist world system hates the Lord Jesus Christ and His saints (John 15:18).

The religious aspects of Babylon the Great will so permeate world culture that the spiritual powers of the Beast and the False Prophet will turn against the people of God causing them to become a sacrifice to Satan and the Beast system. This hatred of Jesus and His saints runs so deep that the blood of the saints will become a special type of spiritual communion among the Beast worshippers in Babylon the Great:

Rev.17:6: And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

During this evil time the saints of God will overcome the Beast “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;” and because they love the Lord Jesus Christ more than the antichrist world system they will “love not their lives unto death” (Rev. 12:11). Because of their deep commitment to the Word of God and the Lamb, their testimony for Christ will shine for eternity like a sparkling diamond.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (Rev. 20: 4).

Friends, do not allow the pre-Tribulation rapture to deceive you. Christians will be here to see the advent of the Antichrist Beast, and the last world empire, Babylon the Great. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, and you will see that before the gathering of the Church to Christ (the rapture), a great apostasy will appear leading to the revelation of the Man of Sin, the Antichrist Beast.

666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST, PART THREE by Jeff Wingo

In my previous two posts, 666: Calculating the Number of the Beast Part 1 and Part 2, we learned the correct way to calculate the number of the Beast. We also learned that king Solomon is a biblical type of the Antichrist. Continuing with Solomon, we see that at the beginning of his reign God blessed him with supernatural wisdom. However, later in his life Solomon turned from the Lord God and began to serve the god of this world.

“For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods” (1 Kings 11:4-8).

I should add at this point that these were not imaginary gods. The people may have set up a stone or bronze image of a god or a goddess, but the ancient gods of Babylon and Canaan were empowered by the Fallen Ones.

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils (1 Corinthians 10:19-21.

Yea, they (backslidden Israel) sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood (Psalm 106:37-38).

There is a real spiritual power behind these entities, possibly accompanied by a visible, tangible, manifestation before the people and the temple priests (the same type of visual manifestation found in many modern alien and UFO accounts). It was a reality so intoxicating that it caused the kings of Israel and the people of the nation to surrender their will (individually and collectively), as well as their little children, to the image of the beast. Why else would Solomon, the wisest man on Earth at that time abandon the God of heaven and surrender the future of Israel and the children of his nation to the power of the priests and idols like those that he did?

All of the gods listed at 1 Kings 11:4-8 are essentially the same being: Milcom, Molech, Chemosh, Molech, Baal-hamon, were also known in North Africa and Greece as the sun-god Kronos/Cronus. The Romans also associated Molech or Moloch with the god Saturn, an ancient cosmic deity worshipped by the Israelites during the 40 years spent in the wilderness with Moses. Later, Solomon, Manasseh, and many of the other kings of Israel worshiped the god Saturn in the Temple proper as well.

Amos 5:25-26: Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Acts 7:43: Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

The ancient worshippers of Saturn knew him as a bloody god, one who, according to the myths, devoured his own children; and so in like manner, the worshippers of Saturn offered their own children to the image of the god, truly an image of the Beast. We see this symbolically in the Bible, as Satan the Great Red Dragon is also a devourer of children. In Revelation 12:1-5, the Dragon waits for the birth of Jesus so that he may devour him as soon as he is born.

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

To be clear, the Romans considered that Saturn was the same god as the Greek Cronus. Historically, the Greek chronicler Diodorus Siculus provided this description of Cronus, the Carthaginian fire god:

“There was in their city a bronze image of Cronus extending its hands, palms up and sloping toward the ground, so that each of the children when placed thereon rolled down and fell into a sort of gaping pit filled with fire.”

I find it incredible that human beings could be so deceived (and depraved) that they would offer their own children to a burning idol in this manner. We tend to think of ourselves as more sophisticated than ancient people; but today our culture (and those around the world) also continue this very same practice as they freely offer up little children to the image of the beast.

The ritual act of abortion is a continuation of the bloody sacrifice to the god of self and pleasure. The Elites of our world have created a convenient altar for their bloody sacrifices to continue, sacrifices to the ancient sun-god, Saturn/Satan. It is true that Satan transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), an ancient image of the sun—Saturn/ Cronus or Helios Apollo, or, as the book of Revelation reveals, Apollyon, the king of the infernal Abyss (Revelation 9:11).

The Symbol of Gold: Immortality, Power, and Idolatry

Gold is a symbol of wealth, power, and status. It is also not a bad thing in the Bible: Abraham was rich in gold and silver (Genesis 13:2), the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant was made of pure gold (Exodus 25:17; 37:6), and the Wise Men brought the Christ child gold (Matthew 2:11).

Yet, gold is also a symbol of idolatry, for instance the golden calf worshipped at the foot of Sinai (Exodus 32:1-6). Historically, gold is likewise a symbol for immortality; in keeping with many of the ancient mystery religions, the Alchemists of old vainly tried to turn base metals like lead into gold.

The alchemical goal is actually an attempt through occult ritual to turn humanity into the gold of the gods; it is an upward reach for the stars, to achieve an apotheosis without the need of the God of heaven. Many of the ancient Mystery religions (and today secret societies) promised transformation or godhood to the highest adepts through the application of occult gnosis, or the hidden knowledge of the gods.

Solomon is an example in the Bible of a man who forsakes the God of heaven, for the secret gnosis of the Fallen Ones. In all reality, for humanity, like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, reaching to be “like” the gods is a vain attempt, indeed, a lie. Solomon realized this too late; later, filled with regret he cried out, “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2).

Solomon sacrificed his relationship with the God of heaven, and the future of Israel, for sensual pleasures and the occult gnosis of Satan, the god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4). Ultimately, that is what Satan promises—the gnosis of the gods, and personal transformation, to be as gods, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:5). Over the untold centuries, many people have found out, just as Solomon did, that Satan’s promises come at a great cost, and finally, are empty lies.

Revelation 13:18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

In part one, 666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST, we stepped back from all the hype and speculation concerning the number of the Beast. The heart of the issue for us today, in the 21st century, is how do we figure out the true meaning of the number 666? How should we “count” the number as the apostle John instructed us, so that we can fully understand the implications of the number and the identity of the Beast?

I believe when the apostle John wrote the book of Revelation his desire was to impart wisdom and understanding to the Church, not cause us to engage in useless speculation regarding an unsolvable mystery. After all, the last verse of chapter 13 begins with these words—“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast…” From all of this, it is obvious that the “wisdom” to which John was referring is biblical wisdom. Let us be like the prophet Daniel who sought the Lord for wisdom and understanding.

Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days (Daniel 10:14).

Seeking the Wisdom of the Lord

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding (Proverbs 4:7).

In this study, it is my hope (with the leading of the Holy Spirit), to come to a biblical understanding regarding this issue so that we can correctly “count” the number. There are probably other ways to go about this, so, what I present here is just a small piece of the puzzle. I do not pretend to have all the answers nobody has all the answers. Like you, I “see through a glass darkly” (1 Corinth. 13:12). Nevertheless, it is my belief that the Bible has all the answers we need for this or any other issue in life. As we move forward, God will lead us to a greater understanding as we study and pray. In addition, I am fully convinced that when the Antichrist Beast does appear he will not catch us off guard—the Lord will provide discernment and wisdom to every member of His true Church.

What we discovered in part 1 is that the Greek word psēphizō (Strong’s G5585), translated in our English Bible as “count,” means much more than just counting or calculating the sum total of a group of numbers. We cannot just arbitrarily pick the name of a famous personality and see if their name adds up to 666 using Hebrew or Greek gematria. That is the problem; we have to go one more step. Going on, we see that the word psēphizō also means to give one’s vote by casting a pebble into an urn; to decide by voting.

Now, as I explained, the Greek word psēphizō originates from a root word, psēphos, (Strong’s G5586), which refers to “a small worn smooth stone, a pebble” used to cast a vote in a court of law. For instance, the members of the jury used the stones to cast a vote to decide whether a defendant was guilty or innocent; “in the ancient courts of justice the accused were condemned by black pebbles and acquitted by white.”

However, in order to come to a proper understanding regarding the legal case before them the members of a jury must listen to all of the facts. Only in this way, can one come to a logical conclusion and properly vote to acquit or condemn the defendant. Applying this to 666, the number of the Beast, means that before we calculate the number of a name, and vote on a candidate for the Antichrist, we must consider all the facts in the case. Once we consider all of the facts (as found in many biblical examples), then we can vote, and apply the number 666 to the correct person, who is the Antichrist, the Beast of the book of Revelation.

Therefore, our task is to search the Bible and study the facts it provides regarding the Antichrist. The clues are there; God did not present us with an unsolvable mystery and then cast us adrift on the waves of subjective speculation. To be honest, everything we need to know about the Antichrist Beast and the infamous 666 is in the Bible. Our task is to take the time, search the Scriptures, and discover the facts. Only by searching out the matter will we have the correct information to solve the enigma of the number of the Beast, 666.

KING SOLOMON: A TYPE OF THE ANTICHRIST BEAST

Without doubt, Solomon is one of the most enigmatic figures in the Bible. He began his reign with the blessings of God, and it seems as if God showered Solomon with an overabundance of wealth and wisdom. Yet Solomon gradually drifted away from the wisdom and blessing of the God of heaven. In turn, he sought out the forbidden gnosis or occult knowledge of the god of this world. Tragically, Solomon descended into blatant idolatry and evil, that is the biblical record.

“For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods” (1 Kings 11:4-8).

Let us take note that every one of the demon gods named in 1 Kings 11:4-8 required human sacrifice. Ashtoreth was a cultic fertility goddess, whose religious ceremonies corrupted every culture that it touched. Ashtoreth (same as the Babylonian Ishtar), was an ancient Canaanite fertility (and war) goddess, androgynous in nature, who was worshipped through sacred prostitution. This caused considerable harm to the people God as they descended into an abyss of wickedness and moral debauchery through male and female temple prostitution. The worship of Ashtoreth literally destroyed the foundations of the family and the nation because of two things, namely, appalling immorality and child sacrifice.

This should all sound very familiar to you in 21st century America because we have the same wicked behavior going on, and all of it has the “sacred” sanction of the United States government and the Supreme Court.

Hello, Everyone! I am back after a brief break from writing on the blog. I decided to rewrite some of my older articles, because we have new visitors to the site, and they are looking for Bible teaching about the Antichrist, the Beast, the number 666, and the Image and Mark of the Beast. 666, CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST PART 1 by Jeff Wingo

Do you know how to calculate the number of the Beast? The Bible has much to say on the subject, and as we study the Word of God, we will see that the Bible eliminates the confusion and useless speculation, which has haunted all attempts to solve this enigma.

When the Apostle John wrote the Revelation, he expected his readers to understand how to calculate the number correctly. After all, he begins the verse with these words: “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast…”.

Simply put, John is saying the verse holds the key to the mystery. Or, as John says, “Here is wisdom…”. So, let us open our Bibles and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us to the solution. The answer is not that difficult, and as you will learn, we find the solution to this mystery in the history, the Law, and the prophets. Since the Bible is God’s book, where else would we look?

Calculating the Number

Revelation 13:18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

With wisdom and understanding from the Word as our guide, let us begin to count the number of the Beast.

The word count is a mathematical term. It does mean to “to count with pebbles, to compute, calculate, reckon.” However, many people throughout the centuries stop there and then they eventually turn to various forms of gematria to try to match a name with the number 666.

This can work with certain names, for example, many in the early church and others in later history applied gematria to the Roman emperor Nero, and came up with the number 666. His name does work out to the number 666, but this brings up a great question—do we use Hebrew gematria or Greek? On the other hand, should we use Latin?

Usually, Nero’s name is calculated with Hebrew using his name and title “Nero Caesar.” This does work out to 666, so, is Nero the Antichrist? No, he is not, although he is a type of antichrist, certainly because of his evil brutality against Christians, Jews, and others. However, Nero is not the Antichrist, John wrote about in the book of Revelation. The reason Nero is not the biblical Antichrist is because there are many other factors we must consider.

Those who speculate like this and leave it there (or go to seed on it), often do not realize they are missing some vital biblical information needed to make a logical case proving the identity of the Antichrist Beast. Without this information, we will be incorrect every time. That is why many people have been wrong and made fools of themselves with fruitless speculation and worthless predictions, further discrediting Bible prophecy in the eyes of the church and the world.

World Leaders Accused of being the Antichrist

During the 1980’s more than a few Christians claimed that American President Ronald Reagan was the Antichrist because his name, Ronald Wilson Reagan, which happens to contain six letters in each name. Obviously, Reagan was not the Antichrist, and this kind of subjective speculation is not based on biblical revelation.

Going on, others speculated that Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev was the Antichrist because of a distinctive birthmark on his head, how ridiculous is that? That kind of speculation finds its basis in subjective reasoning without the parameters of biblical truth; perhaps it came to someone in a dream after a night of bad pizza and cheap beer!

Others named as the Antichrist include, Henry Kissinger, the Pope (does not matter, just pick one), Adolph Hitler, Napoleon, Pol Pot, Mussolini (although some Christians thought he was the False Prophet), Joseph Stalin, Chairman Mao; and the following, especially among American Christians: Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and now even Donald Trump! At one time or another, Christians have accused men like these and others of being the biblical Antichrist.

Let us stop the madness right here!

The Apostle John did not intend that we should go through various numerical gymnastics to solve the riddle!

What John intended was that we would use wisdom, “Here is wisdom.” Then he says, “Let him that hath understanding count the number of the Beast.”

The word count is the Greek word psēphizō (Strong’s G5585), and it means to count with pebbles, to compute, calculate, or reckon. In ancient courts of justice, the jury would use pebbles to vote on the defendant, whether guilty or innocent. To cast a black pebble was a vote of guilt and a white pebble would indicate innocence.

Going further, the word “reckon,” as found in the definition of psēphizō means to calculate something, to number, to settle accounts, but it also means “To reason with one’s self and conclude from arguments,” in other words, to come to a conclusion or summation of the matter (Webster, 1828 Dictionary).

Now in order to vote on a court case a jury must consider the facts of the case. Once the defense and prosecution present all of the facts, and “rest” their case, the members of the jury must then consider those facts, and based on that information cast a vote of guilt or innocence.

Therefore, in ancient courts of justice, after the jury has heard all the facts, they would vote using black or white pebbles. The black pebble condemned the accused and the white pebble was a vote for innocence. That is what the Greek word psēphizō means, and that is exactly what I believe John meant when he wrote, “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast…”

Strictly speaking then, we are to reckon or add up the sum of the facts as presented in the Bible. In that way we correctly count the number of the Beast. John did not intend that Christians would accuse someone of being the Antichrist because their name happens to add up to 666. That is not the way to solve the mystery and correctly identify the real Antichrist. However, using wisdom and truth as found in the Bible, and considering all of the facts of the case, The Antichrist vs. God and the People of Earth, takes time, just like the time it takes to present all of the pertinent facts in a court of law.

The Number 666

“…for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Think about this: the number 666 is the number of a man. That being the case then perhaps we should search the Scriptures and discover all of the facts about the man. That research in turn will provide us with the identity of the man and demonstrate his relation to the infamous number 666; and that information will allow us to calculate the number, correctly identifying the Antichrist Beast.

Here are some men (and one planet/god) in the Bible associated with the number 666, the number of the Beast:

• King Solomon
• King Nebuchadnezzar
• Nephilim giants such as Goliath and several others
• Sethur
• Adonikam
• The planet Saturn–yes, I know it sounds incredible, but the Scriptures testify that many ancient Israelites worshiped the planet Saturn, or more specifically, the ancient demon god represented by that name (even during the Exodus from Egypt. See Acts 7:43 and Amos 5:25-27—where Saturn is called Chiun. The worship of the star god is one of the reasons why God exiled them into Babylon. Compare, Deuteronomy 32:17).

Search the Bible for yourself; see if you can make the connection between the number 666, these men, and one cosmic deity, Saturn. It startles many Christian to learn that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, actually had competition for worship in the Old Testament.

In fact, many of the ancient Israelites worshipped Saturn during the period spent in the wilderness with Moses, and Moses was well aware of their secret affinity for devils (see Deuteronomy 32:15-18). Then, once they settled in the land of Israel, many of the priests continued to lead the people in the worship of Saturn. King Solomon was a leader and innovator in the worship of devils, which, in the long run, served to destroy the nation beyond remedy. I know that is shocking, but as you will discover, the Bible associates this same entity with the Beast of Revelation and the number 6, the number of a man.

Once you see the connection to the number 666, it will lead to one incredible conclusion: The Bible does indeed reveal the identity of the Antichrist Beast!

No more guessing, no more questions, you will know for sure that the Bible holds the key to his identity. After that, all foolish speculation will finally end!

A NEST AMONG THE STARS by Jeff Wingo

On Monday June 18, 2018, President Donald Trump called for the establishment of a separate United States Space Force, creating a sixth branch of the U.S. military. I find that interesting not only due to the fact that the Space Force will be the “sixth” branch of the armed forces, but that the 6th branch placed in outer space is located in the domain of the Fallen angels, ruled by the Prince of the Power of the Air, which is the spirit of antichrist (Ephesians 2:2).

During remarks at a Meeting with the National Space Council, President Trump said, “Very importantly, I’m here by directing the Department of Defense and Pentagon to immediately begin the process necessary to establish a space force as the sixth branch of the armed forces. That’s a big statement.”

I find that interesting on several levels. First, the Space Force is the sixth branch of the armed forces. The first five, Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard, currently represent the combined military power of the United States, and indeed, symbolically represents the military power of the world system, whether we are talking about the United States, China, Russia, etc.

In the Bible numbers have meaning, and concerning nations and world empires, we find the number five symbolizing world empires in Daniel chapter 2. In that momentous chapter, we see Daniel interpreting a dream for king Nebuchadnezzar, a dream of a great image of a metal man. The metal statue vividly described as having a head of gold, breast and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass, two legs of iron, and finally feet and ten toes consisting of a mixture of iron and clay. Five characteristics symbolically describing the order of world empires.

A through study of Daniel chapters 2, 7, 8 and parts of 11, demonstrate that the interpretation describes world empires from Babylon to the return of Christ. The preciseness of the prophecy is the reason Bible critics and scoffers love to pick apart the book of Daniel. Yet, the Bible stands true, and we do have a more sure word of prophecy (2 Peter 1:19). Daniel is the Word of God and Daniel is a prophet as attested by Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:15). With that said, we find 5 descending empires described in chapter 2:

• Babylon is the head of gold (vs. 38).
• The Breast and Arms of Silver symbolize the Medo-Persian Empire (vs. 39).
• The Belly and Thighs of Brass represent the Empire of Alexander the Great (vs. 39), which was later divided by his four generals after the death of Alexander.
• The Two Legs of Iron symbolize the Roman Empire (vs. 40) and its later division into two empires, Rome in the west and Byzantium in the east.
• The Ten Toes of Iron mixed with Clay, End-Time Empire of the Antichrist Beast (vs. 41 – 43).

The final Empire, noted as a kingdom set up by the “God of heaven” (vs. 44), is represented as a stone cut out of a mountain without hands (without human agency), a stone which crushes the world empires of man, and the debris of human government blown away by the wind (power of the Holy Spirit). The Stone represents the coming of the Messiah, the Millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ, who is the Chief Corner stone of the church (Ephesians 2:20). Interestingly, 1 Peter 2:8 calls Jesus, “a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence (1 Peter 2:8); and Matthew 21:44 says, “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder” (See also Luke 20:18).

It should be noted that in Daniel’s list of empires the kingdom of “the Stone,” being the kingdom of Christ, is number 6—is that because the coming of Jesus Christ stops the progression of man beyond the number 6? I believe so, and this demonstrates that God will only allow man to go so far before judgement comes.

Six is the number for man—the creation of man took place on the sixth day, and men are to work for six days and rest on the seventh day. The sixth commandment prohibits the murder of man, and if man goes beyond his decreed boundary, multiples of 6 begin to appear, as in the number of the Beast, 666, leading man away from God and into a satanic form of life and worship.

Even though the number 5 symbolically represents the military might of the United States, and indeed, is symbolic of all the nations of the world dominated by the spirit of antichrist, man desires to take human government further, into a domain that is not his, the stars of heaven. That is why I find the number 6 in this context very intriguing—6 is the number of man, and multiples of 6 represent the kingdom of Antichrist, as in the infamous number of the Beast 666 (Revelation 13:18).

God gave man dominion over the Earth, which is humanity’s domain. Yet, we have been reaching beyond that boundary for years, beginning at the Tower of Babel with “A city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven…” (Genesis 11:4). I think we may include in this our missions into outer space (which is a reach into the heavens, a place which declares the glory of God, Psalm 19), and now man desires to build a city and a tower on the planet Mars. I find it interesting that NASA named the lunar module on the first manned mission to the moon, Apollo 11, the Eagle.

Obadiah 1:4: Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

Additionally, the Eagle landed on the Sea of Tranquility. According to Webster, the word tranquility means “Calmness, quiet”, which refers to the place of landing for the Eagle—the calm sea. The word tranquility only appears once in the Bible, it is an Aramaic word (shĕlevah, Strong’s H7963), which Gesenius describes as security, and is found in Daniel 4: 27 when the prophet, speaking to king Nebuchadnezzar, counsels him to turn from sin to the God of heaven.

Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.

Only God gives man peace, without God, or specifically the Lord Jesus (our only way to the Father), man has no peace, nor forgiveness of sin. Nevertheless, speculating about this I have to wonder: is this why Satan and the Antichrist will pretend to come from the stars, as extraterrestrial aliens? Obviously, Satan also reached beyond his boundary and desired the place of God. Moreover, he wanted to soar above the stars of God and be “like God” to the rest of creation; hence his desire for the worship of men and angels.

Isaiah 14:13-14: For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

One day in the future, only a day that God knows, Satan and his angels shall be cast from the heavens to Earth (Revelation 12:7-9). On that day, humankind will experience a true extraterrestrial visitation. Over the years billions of people have been indoctrinated into Darwinian evolution, and when the Fallen Ones come to Earth, they will provide “proof” for that big lie—and unfortunately the Strong Delusion will pour over the Earth like Noah’s flood.

Luke 17:26: And as it was in the days of Noe (Noah), so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE IMAGE AND MARK OF THE BEAST by Jeff Wingo

I have said all along that the Image of the Beast is an image created in the human mind; it is not a statue or a hologram. It is an actual living image created by means of satanic spiritual power; and its purpose is to generate a mind controlled slave for the last world empire ruled by Fallen Angels called Babylon the Great. The image is designed to permanently chain the human mind to the Beast for all eternity. Once the image is in the mind it will call the satanic “image bearers” to worship the Beast and the Dragon.

Revelation 13:4: And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

This is not a fantasy, nor a misinterpretation of the biblical text. The image will seal and spiritually taint the inner recesses of the human mind forever as it links the Beast followers with the mark of the Dragon (Satan), and the image of the Beast from the Abyss, Apollyon/Abaddon. The dual names of the Beast means Destruction or Destroyer–the Destroying angel from Tartarus (see Revelation chapter 9).

In ancient Babylon king Nebuchadnezzar set up an image on the plains of Dura and caused the people under his authority to worship the golden image.

Daniel 3:1: Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

The parallels to Revelation chapter 13 are unmistakable: The number 666 is encoded in this chapter in relation to revelation of the golden image–height= 60 cubits, breadth= 6 cubits, and in Daniel 3:5 there are 6 musical instruments that call the people of Babylon to worship the image. These three equal the number 666.

Likewise, in Babylon the Great the number 666 is the number of the Beast (Rev.13:17-18), which is the number of his name. The golden image of ancient Babylon is the material equivalent of the spiritual Image of the Beast in the book of Revelation. Gold is a symbol of wealth, but also of idolatry (e. g., the golden calf, Ex. 32).

Notice that Nebuchadnezzar set the image up in the plains of Dura. The word Dura means “dwelling” and is from a root word that means “to dwell, to inhabit.” In other words, the image is created in the dwelling place–and the ancient Babylonian equivalent in new Babylon, Babylon the Great, is the spiritual Image of the Beast created in the dwelling place of the human mind, the place where human thought and emotion take place.

As a side note, Jesus said we are to love God with all of our heart, soul, and mind” (Matthew 22:37). In satanic imitation, during the last world empire before the return of the Messiah, the followers of the Beast will worship the golden image (idol) of the Beast with all their heart, soul, and mind!

TRAINING WHEELS FOR THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST

A news article on the website The Daily Beast (no pun intended, but it is an interesting link isn’t it?) has an article dated February 27, 2016 called, Pentagon Research Could Make ‘Brain Modem’ a Reality.

According to the article DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, has developed “a high-bandwidth neural interface that would allow people to beam data from their minds to external devices and back.”

They call this a “brain modem,” and with this device inserted in the brain a soldier could control a drone or other high-tech equipment by the power of his brain alone! It is a tiny sensor that travels through the blood vessels eventually installing itself in the brain!

If you know anything about the military-industrial complex then you know that when they reveal something like this to the public that the technology is already operational. This is just our introduction to high-level sorcery as they seek a technological means to manipulate and control the human mind.

Imagine the horrifying consequences of a technology like this in the hands of a demon-driven political dictator like Hitler or Stalin. Now imagine the frightening implications of this technology linked with a spiritual power administered by the False Prophet through the satanic power of the Beast.

THE FIRST SEAL: HAS IT BEEN BROKEN? by Jeff Wingo

Has the first seal of the 7 sealed scroll of the book of Revelation been broken? As you may recall, the Apostle John, the author of the book of Revelation, was shown a sealed scroll in heaven that no one was worthy to open (Rev. 5); only the Lamb of God was found worthy to receive the scroll and break the seals. This scroll was given to the Lamb, who is Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God “who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). Jesus takes the scroll, breaks the first seal, and begins to unroll it. Each seal reveals an aspect of the judgment of God upon the Earth. Once the Lamb takes the scroll and the 1st seal is broken, John hears a loud noise like roaring thunder.

Revelation 6:1-2

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

With the breaking of the 1st seal, the noise of thunder is heard, which is an ominous warning of Divine judgment. And with that, John is invited to observe the resulting after-effects. It is then that he observes a rider on a white horse. That the rider has a crown is very significant. In this case the crown is the wreath worn by a conqueror. His power in conquest is also implied by the white horse, signifying his position as a victor. According to Albert Barnes, “the horse was an emblem of fleetness, and, consequently, of the rapidity of conquest.” With his bow and crown he goes forth as a victor, conquering the world.

Who is the rider on the white horse? The rider is none other than the Antichrist, the Beast of Revelation. The opinion of commentators of ages past is that this is a symbol of Christ, going forth, conquering the world with the power of the gospel. While it is true that the gospel has the power to redeem the human heart, and thus conquer the power of sin, Jesus did not come to Earth the first time as a conquering king to subdue the nations of the Earth; He came as the Redeemer of mankind, and He said His kingdom is not of this world:

John 18:36: Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Jesus will subdue the nations at His Second Coming. But before He returns again, the world will experience the judgment of Antichrist. So the king of Revelation 6:2 is not Christ, but the embodiment of the spirit of antichrist, the Beast of the book of Revelation. He is also the Willful King of the prophet Daniel (11:36), and the man of sin, the son of perdition of the Apostle Paul (2 Thess. 2:3). He has many names in the Bible, but he is better known as the Antichrist, the antithesis of God and His anointed King, Jesus.

Since the Antichrist Beast is released upon the Earth with the breaking of the 1st seal, I think we can reasonably conclude that the seal has not yet been broken. The person of the Antichrist is not yet active on the Earth at this time, however, the spirit of antichrist is.

A few prophecy teachers today are declaring that the 1st seal has been broken, and they offer their arguments and proofs to substantiate their claims. But, I think if we forget the arguments and opinions, and stick with the biblical text, we can see that the seal is still intact at this point in time. The individual who is the Antichrist is not yet revealed. He is still imprisoned in Tartarus (see Rev. 9:11, and my book, Alien Antichrist).

What we are seeing in the world today is the increasing power of the spirit of antichrist.

At one time the United States was one of the most Christian nations on the face of the Earth. But since the 1960’s we have seen the increasing erosion of the Judeo-Christian standard and ethic that were the founding principles of America. Biblical Christianity is now seen by those in positions of power, such as the media and the courts, as an enemy of the state, and Bible Christians are seen as a threat to freedom and progress. This is why it is so important for those opposed to the Bible to remove displays of the Ten Commandments, public displays of faith and prayer, and other reminders of the Christian faith.

Every religion and voice in the United States is allowed except the Bible and the Christian voice; you can also see this around the world, especially in countries dominated by Islam and various other religions that deny the unique position of Jesus Christ. Think about it: why is the name of every god on Earth allowed, but at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ, the hue and cry of atheists and others is deafening, and absolutely stunning.

This is evidence that the spirit of antichrist is gaining more power and influence; and this trend will continue as we move closer to prophetic fulfillment.

No, the 1st seal hasn’t been broken yet, but we may be closer than any of us can realize. Expect the spirit of Antichrist to gain more power and momentum, and also anticipate the power and influence of deception to increase at a very rapid rate.

As Christians we do have hope, and of course our hope is found in our relationship with Jesus. The Bible instructs us to remain steadfast and continue in our faith:

2 Timothy 3:12-15

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

666: THE WORSHIP OF SATURN AND HIS RELATIONSHIP TO THE BEAST OF REVELATION by Jeff Wingo

Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts” (Amos 5:25-27).

If you read the earlier articles in this series, 666: Calculating the Number of the Beast (parts 1-5), then you know that King Solomon in his later years abandoned the God of heaven for a bloodthirsty demon god called Molech or Moloch.

Molech went by many names in the ancient world, and I have already discussed that aspect in another article, but essentially all of the names attached to this deity point to one god: Kronus in the Greek, and Saturn by those in Rome.

Wherever the god Saturn was worshiped the blood of his victims flowed as deep as the river Styx. The River Styx as you may recall, was the barrier between the world of the living and that of the dead. In the mythology of the Greeks, the river was venerated even by the gods, who at times would swear oaths binding their word to the power of the river. It was also believed that bodies dipped into the river would receive the gift of immortality.

Such was the power of Styx that Thetis, mother of Achilles, dipped the child in the river, thus ensuring his immortality. Her one failing in this respect however, was that when she dipped him in the river she held onto his heel. Thus, the only vulnerable spot on the demigod Achilles was his heel, a fact that Paris, under the guidance of Apollo, later took advantage of during the Trojan war. This of course gave rise to the phrase “Achilles heel,” referring to a weakness or mortal vulnerability that could be exploited by one’s enemies.

It is not hard to see that the Greek myth of Achilles still carries a small fragmented memory of a biblical prophecy. Genesis 3:15, states that the serpent would bruise the heel of the seed of the woman. The Serpent must have thought that the “heel” of Christ referred to a vulnerability that could be exploited in the Son of God.

Thus, when Christ was on the cross, Satan must have personally ensured that the heel also received a nail, pinning the Son of God to the cross, and exploiting (what he thought) was his only vulnerable spot.

To the left is the heel of a man named Yehohanan who suffered a painful death by crucifixion in the 1st century. As you can see the nail penetrated the heel. This was the standard method used by the Romans; and this became better known once the ossuary of Yehohanan was discovered in 1968. It proves that when Jesus was crucified the nail penetrated both heels at once; in fact, the feet were parallel and the nail penetrated both heels which were fastened to the vertical beam of the cross. {2}

I believe the ancient Adversary of the Seed of the Woman was so deceived himself, that he believed his own myth–that Christ could have been defeated if only his heel were bruised.

But in reality, by bruising the Seed of the Woman, Satan actually brought about his own defeat, because it was through the cross the Jesus brought victory to humanity. What really happened was the defeat of the Serpent because through the cross Jesus bruised the head of the Serpent, just as the prophecy predicted. The New Testament teaches us about the victory of Jesus when He suffered the torments of Calvary:

Colossians 2:14-15: Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

In the wisdom of God the cross bruised the serpents head and brought victory to those who would come to believe the gospel: Jesus died for our sins–He blotted out the law which was against us, and nailed our sin to the cross so that when we come to faith in Christ we bear our sin no more! On the third day Jesus arose victorious over His enemies! That is victory my friends, true victory for you and me!

An Evil Attempt to Prevent the Arrival of the Seed of the Woman

After the fall of Adam and Eve, God gave a prophecy about the coming “seed of the woman,” or Messiah, who would redeem humankind from the power of sin and death.

Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between thee (the serpent) and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Satan, as the father of the seed of the serpent, wanted to ensure that “the seed of the woman” would not reach maturity. So, in response to the prophecy, soon after the fall of mankind, Satan instituted a priesthood and a cult among the ancient tribes. Later the practices of this evil cult were adopted by the Ammonites, Canaanites, Phoenicians, Carthaginians (under the name Baal-hamon), and many others to destroy small children.

As powerful as Satan is, even he is not omniscient, or all-knowing, and so he set up a method of systematic slaughter as an insane attempt to kill the seed of the woman. His strategy was to empower the priesthood of the fire god Molech or Cronus/Saturn, which led to a holocaust of destruction; and we even see this carried forth into the modern world by the rite (a so-called right) of abortion.

Friends, I realize this is hard stuff, most Christians don’t like to talk about this aspect of Bible prophecy either, but nonetheless, as you will see, there is a connection here with the number of the Beast, 666.

The god Saturn or Cronus/Kronos is the same entity as the god Molech, often referred to as the Hidden god. In fact, this may surprise many of you, but when Moses went up on the mount at Sinai to receive the 10 Commandments, the people resorted to the worship of Cronus/Saturn. The Golden Calf the children of Israel danced around was actually a representation of the Egyptian god of the dead, Osiris, also known as Apis the Bull; as such he was also known as the Hidden One. Indeed, Apis was only another name for the god Saturn, the Hidden One of antiquity. {1}

In the language of the Chaldeans the name Saturn is spelled STUR and numerically the letters of the name add up to the number of the Beast.

S = 60, T = 400, U = 6, R = 200, totaling 666, the number of the Beast.

According to Steven, the first martyr of the Christian church, many of the ancient Israelites secretly worshiped Saturn as they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.

Acts 7:40-43: Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness? Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Remphan and Moloch are the god Saturn, a celestial deity represented by a star. As incredible as it sounds the planet Saturn, the celestial representation of Moloch is the 6th planet in our solar system. And, even more impossible to believe, Saturn also has a 6-pointed star as a permanent feature at its northern pole. It is known as the Saturn Hexagon, a strange wind pattern that has even been seen by amateur astronomers from Earth. This unique wind pattern on Saturn could only be seen in our time. Is this somehow a marker, a sign in the wilderness of space that the god Saturn is going to return?

So who is Saturn? Saturn, Cronus, and Moloch are all a veiled reference to none other than Satan, the god of this world. Saturn was known as a devourer of children, and Satan is the devourer of all who reject Jesus Christ.

There are many veiled references to Saturn in the Bible, and in ancient history. Saturn is often represented by a star, as referenced in the Bible verses provided above. According to Velikovsky,”the Babylonians called Saturn ‘the Star of Tammuz.’” {4} Sun worship, and the worship of Tammuz, is mentioned in your Bible by the prophet Ezekiel (8:14). These were all part of the evil abominations he witnessed in the Temple in Jerusalem–a place reserved for the worship of the true God of heaven, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Folks, this goes deep, and I go in-depth with this in my book Alien Antichrist, in chapter 11 called The Image of the Beast, so I am not going to go any more in-depth with this here. But suffice it to say that even the ancient Babylonians referred to Saturn as the star of Tammuz. {4}

PLEASE NOTE: At this point many people go into an anti-Semitic rant against the Jewish flag and the Jewish people; all because they use a six-pointed star on their national flag. But since I am not a hater of Israel or the Jewish people, I don’t think it is necessary to demonize Israel or Jews. Suffice it to say that God will take care of Israel as He has always done; He will also deal with the nation in His own time and way, just as He will deal with all nations before the present age is over. We are all equally guilty before a Holy God. And before we get on our high and mighty horse, the United States is far from perfect and our government for the past 50 years has become a lot less than our Founders envisioned.

I am not really worried about Israel so much as I am about the United States of America–a nation given so much; so much freedom, and so much prosperity, but a nation now (at least it seems) almost wholly given over to a multitude of sins and self-deceptions.

Now to get back to our examination of Saturn, many secret societies use a star symbol, and many use the 6-pointed star as a symbol of their deity. There are all kinds of kooky websites out there that go to seed on stuff like this, but let me point out one major item you may research if you are interested. Historically, the hexagram, a 6-pointed star, has often stood as a symbol of Saturn or Satan. And, I must warn you, if you do look closer at this, and if you dig too deep into history, you may not like what you find.

I will finish this article with one more sign pointing to the Star of Tammuz, or Saturn as a symbol of Satan and the number of the Beast, 666. Here is a painting by Rubens of Saturn devouring his own child, as revealed by the ancient myths. The point I want to make is that Rubens as an artist understood Saturn, and the symbology associated with Saturn and Satan.

Don’t look at the depiction of the pagan god as he is devouring his child. Look at the top of the painting, for there you will see 3 stars, and each star has 6 points. Those 3 stars with 6 points each total 666, the number of the Beast. Rubens knew art, but he also understood the symbology of Saturn, as the image of the Beast.

The Apostle John revealed in the book of Revelation, that the worship of Saturn (Satan) will be intricately linked with the worship of the Antichrist Beast at the end of days.

Revelation 9:1: And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

I am of the opinion that the star that opens the pit, or abyss, is none other than Satan, pictured here as a star. Could it be that at the end of days a great sight will appear in the skies? Is it possible that this star will hit the Earth, and be revealed as the star of Saturn, an Angel of Light? Could it be that this Angel of Light is none other than Heyel ben Shachar, Lucifer the Light-Bearer, the Shining One, posing as the Morning Star?

Isaiah 14:12: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

And could it be that the Light-Bearer will pretend to be “the Light,” Jesus, coming back a second time? The Apostle Paul warned us to be careful of the “angel of light.” Because his true nature is that of a roaring lion; and he prowls about, seeking those he may to DEVOUR (1 Peter 5:8); just like the ancient god Saturn.

2 Corinthians 11:14: And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST PART FIVE by Jeff Wingo

So far in the series we have looked at the biblical links to the number of the Beast, 666. As we have learned, there are some very interesting correlations between the number and it meaning. Lets look at another aspect of this number.

When John wrote the verse he intended that we would use wisdom and examine the biblical text for clues that reveal the meaning behind the number. In this way we will be able to count the number of the Beast, and discover what John meant when he said “its the number of a man.”

Revelation 13:18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

In earlier parts of this series we learned that one of the men John wanted us to examine was king Solomon and his link to the number 666, as well as the evil apostasy he led the nation of Israel into near the end of his rule. Solomon abandoned the God of Heaven for the occult gnosis or hidden knowledge of the god of this world, Lucifer, the Light-Bearer. The Apostle Paul warned us about the abilities of Lucifer/Satan to alter his appearance so that his doctrines look very appealing to humanity.

2 Corinthians 11:14: And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

As most of you know, Lucifer and his fallen ones still come to humans as an angel of light, bearing gnosis or knowledge that appeals to “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” (1 John 2:16). He still wants us to pluck fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but in the end the fruit he offers is actually bitter poison. It destroys our relationship with God, with other people, and can lead to a very bitter end for many, not just in this world, but in eternity as well.

Before the ancient Israelites entered the Promised Land Moses sent 12 spies to examine the land and its inhabitants. God had promised a land flowing with milk and honey, which is a way of saying that the land would be a land of blessing, bounty, and plenty. All of their needs would be met once they entered the land, conquered its inhabitants, and began a new life under the authority of God.

After the 12 spies returned from their exploration, 10 of the men brought an evil report which discouraged the majority of the children of Israel from entering the land. They said they saw the Nephilim giants and refused to believe that God would help them conquer the giants and take the land.

As many of you know, because of this heart of unbelief God banished the unbelieving generation to the wilderness for a period of 40 years, or, until they were all dead. In the end their children entered the land and conquered the Nephilim giants under the leadership of Joshua.

One of the 12 spies was a man by the name of Sethur, and his father’s name was Michael. It is here in the book of Numbers that we see another clue revealing 666, the number of the Beast. And remember, it is the number of a man, so here is another man with a connection to the number.

Numbers 13:13: Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael.

According to Dr. Adam Clark the Hebrew name Sethur equals 666:

ס 60 + ת 400 + ו 6 + ר 200 = 666

This is the one place in the Bible where it seems the gematria works out to 666. As strange as it seems, once we examine the meaning of the names it will become abundantly clear why the Holy Spirit placed this signpost in the ancient book of Numbers.

The Hebrew name Cĕthuwr Sethur means “hidden, to hide, conceal, mysterious.” The name also means, “destroying.” {1} The father of Sethur is a man named Michael, which means, “who (is) like God.” {2}

Taking all of this into consideration, and placing the clues side by side, the name Sethur and his father Michael mean: “the hidden one, the destroyer, who is like God.” {3}

Apollyon/Abaddon, the Beast from the abyss also means Destroyer. He is the hidden one, because he is currently in the prison of Tartarus, deep in the Earth. His name means Destroyer, and he desires to be like God. {4}

Another clue is found at Ezra 2:13: “The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.”

This verse is from a listing of families who are returning to Jerusalem from Babylon after the 70 year captivity. It seems so strange to have information about the number 666 at this point in Scripture, but there is a very good reason it is placed here.

The first clue is the city of captivity, Babylon. And Babylon the Great will be the city of captivity during the Great Tribulation (see Revelation chapter 18). Also, a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem will one day be the focal point of the entire world when the Antichrist Beast enters the sacred precincts of the Temple, proclaims that he is God, and demands that the Jewish nation of Israel and the world worship him as such.

The name Adonikam means “a lord rising up,” or a lord risen. {5} According to Dr. John Gill, “the number of Adonikam’s posterity is 666, Ezr. 2:13; whose name signifies “a lord rising up”, or “risen”; and suits very well with antichrist, who is risen up, and assumes a lordly domination over the kings of the earth.” {6}

When put all the clues together we find they point directly at Apollyon/Abaddon, the Beast from the abyss.

“It is very clear that all of this points to Apollyon the Beast from the abyss! At present he is hidden away in Tartarus. His name means destroyer, and he desires to be like God. In his former days he was the king of Babylon, and when he is released from the abyss he will once again assume that title and position as the king of an Empire called Babylon the Great.” From Alien Antichrist by Jeffrey A. This is what John meant when he said to count the number of the Beast. These clues, hidden deep in the pages of the Bible, your Bible, reveal the meaning behind the number 666 and point to the identity of the Antichrist Beast. This is what John meant when he said:

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

It should be abundantly clear that all of the information in this series of articles reveals the identity of the Antichrist as the Beast from the abyss. I realize this may not satisfy every person out there, but the information I have given you is BIBLICAL, that is the main thing. There is too much information out there based on speculation and opinion, but my point is that we need to get back to the Word of God, the Bible.

Also please note that my information comes from the authorized King James Bible, so if you are using a modern translation you may find that some of this information will not be revealed by a few of the more modern translations, especially paraphrased creations like one as loose as the Message Bible. I am not King James Only, and I am certainly not legalistic about Bible versions, but if you do some checking you may find that the old venerable King James Bible was put together by godly, scholarly, men who translated the Bible using very strict protocols, and they didn’t play linguistic gymnastics like some of the other versions seem to do at times–just my opinion, yours may differ on this subject!
