666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST PART SIX by Jeff Wingo

So far, in this series we have looked at the various biblical links to the number of the Beast, 666, and in doing so we have discovered along the way that the Bible alone holds the key to the hidden meaning behind the number of the Beast. Thus, as we have discovered, biblical revelation sets us free from the useless speculation surrounding the number of the Beast; the Lord has not given us vital information that we need for the last days and then left us to the mercy of the tide!

Thankfully, in the last days before His return, the Lord Jesus is revealing the biblical meaning of this mystery to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church (Mark 4:9, 23; 7:16; Revelation 2:7, 11, 17; 2:29; 3:13,22; 13:9).

As we have learned, there are some very interesting correlations between the number 666 and its meaning. When John wrote the verse, he intended that we would use wisdom as we examine the biblical text for clues that reveal the meaning behind the infamous number. In this way, we will count (biblically) the number of the Beast to discover what John meant when he said the number of the Beast is, “the number of a man.”

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (Revelation 13:18). 

In earlier segments of this series (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5), we discovered the biblical link to King Solomon and the number of the Beast, as well as the link between 666 and the evil apostasy Solomon brought upon the nation of Israel near the end of his rule.

The Bible clearly testifies that Solomon abandoned the God of Heaven for the occult gnosis or hidden knowledge of the god of this world, Lucifer, the Light-Bearer. The Apostle Paul warned us about the abilities of Lucifer/Satan to alter his appearance so that his doctrines appear to be biblical doctrine.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14: ).

As most of you know, Lucifer and his fallen angels still come to humans as angels of light. They hide evil behind “the light” and bring secret gnosis or forbidden knowledge that appeals to “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” (1 John 2:16).

The Serpent and his servants entice humans to pluck the fruit of Antichrist from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. In the end, the fruit he offers is actually bitter poison. It destroys our relationship with God, with other people, and always leads to a very bitter end for many, not just in this world, but in eternity as well.

AN ANCIENT SIGNPOST FLASHING 666

Before the ancient Israelites entered the Promised Land, Moses sent twelve spies to examine the land and its inhabitants (Numbers chap.13, 14). God promised Israel a land flowing with milk and honey, which is a way of saying that the land is overflowing with blessing, bounty, and plenty. As discovered by the twelve spies however, thousands of giants occupied the land; the remnants of post-flood (second) incursion of the wicked offspring of the fallen Sons of God and the daughters of men (Genesis 6: 1-4).

After the twelve spies returned from exploring the land, ten of the men brought an evil report that discouraged the majority of the children of Israel from entering the land. The ten unbelieving spies refused to believe that God would help them conquer the giants and take the land.

As many of you know, because of unbelief God banished this faithless generation to wander in the wilderness for forty years, until every faithless Israelite died. What a tragic judgment, a testimony we should heed lest we fail the grace of God and end up faithless (1 Corinthians 10:5; Hebrews 3: 8-12). In the end, their children entered the land and conquered the Nephilim giants under the leadership of Joshua.

One of the twelve spies was a man by the name of Sethur, and his father’s name was Michael. It is here in the book of Numbers that we see another clue revealing 666, the number of the Beast. Remember, it is the number of a man, so here is another man with a connection to the number 666.

According to Dr. Adam Clark, the Hebrew name Sethur equals 666: This is the one place in the Bible, where the gematria works out to number. As strange as it seems, once we examine the meaning of the name, it will become abundantly clear why the Holy Spirit placed this signpost in the ancient book of Numbers.

The Hebrew name Cĕthuwr (Sethur) means, “Hidden, to hide, conceal, mysterious.” The name also means, “destroying.” {1} Furthermore, the father of Sethur is a man named Michael, which means, “Who (is) like God.” {2}

Taking all of this into consideration, and placing the clues side by side, the name Sethur and his father Michael suggest “the hidden one, the destroyer, who is like God.” {3}

Apollyon/Abaddon, the Beast from the abyss also means Destroyer (Rev. 9:11). He is the hidden one, because he is currently in the prison of Tartarus, deep in the Earth (Revelation 11:7; 17:8; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6—pgs. 129-132, Alien Antichrist). His name means Destroyer, and he desires to be like God. {4}

Another clue is found at Ezra 2:13: “The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.”

This verse (about another man) is from a listing of families who are returning to Jerusalem from Babylon after the 70-year captivity. It seems so strange to have information about the number 666 at this point in Scripture, but there is a very good reason it is here.

The first clue is the city of captivity, Babylon. According to the Bible, Babylon the Great is the city of captivity during the Great Tribulation (see Revelation chapter 18). In addition, a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem will one day be the focal point of the entire world when the Antichrist Beast enters the sacred precincts of the Temple, proclaims that he is God, and demands worship from the people of Israel and the entire world.

The name Adonikam means “a lord rising up,” or a lord risen. {5} According to Dr. John Gill, “The number of Adonikam’s posterity is 666, Ezr. 2:13; whose name signifies “a lord rising up”, or “risen”; and suits very well with antichrist, who is risen up, and assumes a lordly domination over the kings of the earth.” {6} When we place all the clues side by side, we find they point directly at Apollyon/Abaddon, the Beast from the abyss.

“It is very clear that all of this points to Apollyon the Beast from the abyss. At present, he is hidden away in Tartarus. His name means destroyer, and he desires to be like God. In his former days he was the king of Babylon, and when he is released from the abyss he will once again assume that title and position as the king of an Empire called Babylon the Great.” From Alien Antichrist by Jeffrey A. I believe this is what John meant when he said to count the number of the Beast. All of these clues, hidden deep in the pages of the Bible, your Bible, reveal the meaning behind the number 666 and point directly to the identity of the Antichrist Beast. This is what John meant when he said:

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (Revelation 13:18).

By now, it should be abundantly clear that all of the information in this series of articles reveals the identity of the Antichrist as the Beast from the abyss (Revelation 9:11). I realize this may not satisfy every person out there, but the information I have given you is BIBLICAL, that is what is most important. There is too much information out there based on speculation and opinion, therefore, my point is that we need to get back to the Word of God, the Bible.

Also, please note that all of my information comes from the authorized King James Bible, so if you are using a modern translation you may discover that some of this information you will not find in some new translations. I am not “King James Only” and I am certainly not legalistic about Bible versions; but if you do some checking you may find that the old venerable King James Bible was put together by godly, scholarly, men who translated the Bible using very strict protocols. They did not play linguistic gymnastics as some scholars have done with most of the modern versions–just my opinion, yours may differ on this subject!

666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST PART 5 by Jeff Wingo

In my previous four posts, 666: Calculating the Number of the Beast Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4, we learned that when king Solomon abandoned God he became a biblical type of the Antichrist. Continuing with the story of Solomon, in Part 5 we see the symbolism of the number 666 and the link to his Throne, and the Throne of the Antichrist Beast.

At the beginning of his reign, God blessed Solomon with supernatural wisdom and everything he would need to rule Israel. However, later in his life Solomon turned from the Lord God and began to serve the god of this world. Through Solomon the backslidden king of Israel, the Bible unfolds the mystery of the enigmatic symbolism of 666, the number of the Beast.

The Symbolism of 666 and the Golden Throne of Solomon

“Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold. And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays: And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom” (2 Chronicles 9: 17-19).

Here we see Solomon’s royal throne full of symbology directly related to the number of the Beast, 666. Of course, we see items of wealth such as ivory, and gold, used to construct the throne. Those things are rich with symbolism as well, but at this time, I would like to focus on the six steps, and the twelve lions on each step mounted on both sides of the throne. For it is here that we find the symbolism directly related to the Antichrist Beast. Six steps to ascend the throne, and each step is flanked on either end with the statue of a lion, twelve lions in all—6 steps, and 6 lions on the right side and 6 on the left side for a total of twelve lions. The numbers are clear that 666 relates to the throne of a king who abandoned the God of heaven for the god of this world.

The steps ascending the throne are symbolic of the climb of man as he ascends the golden steps to the heights (or heavens) to obtain godhood. That was the goal of the builders of the Tower of Babel, to reach the heights, the heavens, which is the dwelling place of the “gods.” Every secret society on Earth teaches this doctrine in one way or another. It is the doctrine of Transformation, i.e., apotheosis, the secret gnosis or knowledge of transformation to become like God (spiritual alchemy –turning the base metal of man into a god).

The Serpent, Lucifer, the Bringer of Light, brought that very same doctrine to Adam and Eve (Genesis 3), and since that time to the present, men and women have tried to grasp for the forbidden fruit of godhood through the occult arts, meditation, secret societies, alchemy, and contemporary incarnations of ancient occult associations as found in the New Age Movement. The fallen Cherub, Lucifer tried the same thing—he wanted to be “like God,” but instead, in the process of self-deception he fell from the heights of heaven to the depths Hell.

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isaiah 14:12-14).

Likewise, the Antichrist, the Beast from the Abyss, also seeks to raise himself upward to the heights of heaven and become like God:

2 Thessalonians 2: 3b-4: …and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

As we saw earlier, contained in the description of the throne of Solomon is the triple 6 of Antichrist, and the number 666 points directly to the future Third Temple in Jerusalem. Furthermore, the Throne Symbolism of Solomon and the number 666 also points to the human heart, for in the New Testament the temple of God is the human body.

 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1 Cor. 3: 16). 

I have often wondered if the apostle Paul had the Throne Symbolism of Solomon in mind when he penned 2nd Thessalonians 2:4. For there we find that Paul prophesied of a future time when the Man of Sin (the Antichrist) will usurp the place of God, as he (like Solomon) ascends the golden steps upward into a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem.

No more blasphemy can someone make than to claim the place of Almighty God (think of the pope of Roman Catholicism). Both Jesus and Daniel prophesied that an Abomination of Desolation would occur in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount (Matt.24:15; Daniel 9:27; 12:11). This happens as the Man of Sin enters the Most Holy Place and sets himself up as God of the Earth—“…so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” (2 Thess. 2:4).

Once the Antichrist Beast sets himself up as God, he institutes the Image and Mark of the Beast. This is dangerous territory. Because, if a person accepts the Image and Mark of the Beast that person also commits the ultimate blasphemy by defiling the human body, which is also described biblically as the Temple of God: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you” (1 Corinthians 3:16)?”

The warning is dreadful because the Image and Mark of the Beast defiles the spirit, soul, and body, of the one who accepts it: “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Cor.3:17). The consequences of participating in the deep idolatry of Beast worship are final, and eternal:

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name” (Revelation 14:9-11).

The Bible reveals that one day a new Solomon will arise, take his seat on the Throne of God, and rule the world through a global empire called Babylon the Great. As we have seen, the Throne Symbolism of King Solomon is a prophecy of a future king who will turn his back on God (like Solomon), and take his seat in the Most Holy Place in a Temple in Jerusalem. In addition, the Antichrist Beast will also take his seat in the human body through the Image and Mark of the Beast.

In my previous three posts, 666: Calculating the Number of the Beast Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3, we learned that when king Solomon abandoned God he became a biblical type of the Antichrist. Continuing with the story of Solomon, we see the symbolism of the number 666 revealed in his life. At the beginning of his reign, God blessed Solomon with supernatural wisdom and everything he would need to rule Israel. However, later in his life Solomon turned from the Lord God and began to serve the god of this world. Through Solomon the backslidden king of Israel, the Bible unfolds the mystery of the enigmatic symbolism of 666, the number of the Beast.

2 Chronicles 9:13: Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold.

Solomon became unbelievably wealthy through heavy taxation, exploitation of natural resources, the liberal use of free labor, conscripted servants, and others subject to his authority (1 Kings 4:21; 5:13-18; 9:20-21; 10:21-23 ).

Gold and other precious resources poured into Solomon’s coffers, and all of this in spite of the Law, which stated that the king was not to multiply horses, gold or silver, or wives. Solomon abandoned God for the world system, accumulating wealth and power in direct defiance of the Covenant Law and this led to his downfall (Deuteronomy:16-17).

Furthermore, he sought to secure political alliances with nearby pagan monarchs by marrying their royal daughters. (Deut. 17: 18-20). Once Solomon sought to please his foreign wives more than God, he abandoned the God of Israel, and the ungodly rites of pagan idolatry filled the ensuing spiritual vacuum. His carnal example caused the people of Israel to backslide from the temple worship of Yahweh and they fell into licentious idol worship, including ritual child sacrifice. That situation lasted centuries, and had devastating long-term consequences for the nation of Israel (1 Kings 11:1-10).

As the story of Solomon demonstrates, the Bible associates the number 666 with the wealth and power of the world system. The apostle John warns us not to love the antichrist world system. Indeed, according to John if we love the world, and all the things it offers, then the love of the Father is not in us (1 John 2:15). If you look at the verse in context, I believe it proves that loving the things of the world system will lead you away from God and into the open arms of Antichrist (1 John 2:18).

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time (1 John 2:15-18).

Those who fully embrace the antichrist world system will, in the end, reject the God of heaven and naturally accept the doctrines of Antichrist, which naturally leads one into various forms of idol worship. How many of us have read stories in the news about famous people who claim they have made a “deal with the devil,” in order to gain wealth, fame, and power? I would not take these stories lightly because the Bible provides an example of this very thing—when Satan offered Jesus the kingdoms of the world.

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve (Matthew 4: 8-10).

Of course, Jesus rejected the offer but many famous men and women in New York and Hollywood enthusiastically embrace Satan’s proposition. He provides them many opportunities (and piles of money) to create endless hours of anti-Christian entertainment, which influences the masses to follow them down the Broadway, the Yellow Brick Road to hell (Matthew 7:13).

In the past few years, WikiLeaks revealed that several high level political figures attend ritual ceremonies (a form of witchcraft) called “spirit cooking” dinners (if you can call it that), evidently to enhance their career though occult means. Politicians, lobbyists, and other interested parties gain power and wealth as long as they submit to witchcraft ceremonies and promote antichristian policies and destructive satanic laws for the United States and the nations of the world. Religious leaders love worldly accolades too; they are especially adept as they preach and teach the doctrines of devils, in turn leading billions of unsuspecting souls down the Broadway of destruction.

Could that be why Jesus said, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:26)?

In the future kingdom of the Beast, we see 666 linked with gold and the economic prosperity of the satanic world system. Without the Mark of the Beast, a person cannot buy or sell, or hold a job.

Rev. 13:16-17: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The number 666 closely linked with great wealth and economic control for everyone, the great and the small—meaning, the rich and powerful, the poor, the average blue-collar worker, and the busy executive. In order to work, or buy goods and services a person must yield their soul to the image and mark of the Beast. Just as Solomon abandoned God, so a person in Babylon the Great will eventually forsake God for the gold of the Beast (see Daniel chapter 4)—the mark of his name (666), and the image, which is an occult initiation. As I demonstrate in my book, Alien Antichrist, the image of the Beast is an occult initiation that leads to Beast worship. The image imprints the mind with a living image of the Beast (possibly as a luminescent being of light, a “spirit guide”), and the mark identifies a person as the property of both the Beast and the empire of Babylon the Great.

As in Solomon’s kingdom, ritual human sacrifice will be commonplace in Babylon the Great. Solomon’s idols were Ashtoreth, Milcom, Chemosh, demon gods that demanded worshippers to commit depraved immoral acts such as ceremonial immorality and ritual human sacrifice.

Likewise, in Babylon the Great, a kingdom which requires the souls of men and the blood of the prophets and saints of Jesus (Rev. 18:13, 24), the Antichrist Beast will make war against the saints and will overcome or conquer them (Rev. 13:7; Daniel 7:21). Daniel 8:24 says the Beast will corrupt and destroy the “mighty and the holy people.”

According to Revelation 11: 7 “the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them (Christians, the saints), and shall overcome (kill) them.” The Bible is explicit as it describes this dark time, when the cult of the Beast will rule the world and test the saints of God (Rev.13:10, 15). The apostle Peter must have had this in mind when he said, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you (1 Peter 4:12). The antichrist world system hates the Lord Jesus Christ and His saints (John 15:18).

The religious aspects of Babylon the Great will so permeate world culture that the spiritual powers of the Beast and the False Prophet will turn against the people of God causing them to become a sacrifice to Satan and the Beast system. This hatred of Jesus and His saints runs so deep that the blood of the saints will become a special type of spiritual communion among the Beast worshippers in Babylon the Great:

Rev.17:6: And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

During this evil time the saints of God will overcome the Beast “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;” and because they love the Lord Jesus Christ more than the antichrist world system they will “love not their lives unto death” (Rev. 12:11). Because of their deep commitment to the Word of God and the Lamb, their testimony for Christ will shine for eternity like a sparkling diamond.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (Rev. 20: 4).

Friends, do not allow the pre-Tribulation rapture to deceive you. Christians will be here to see the advent of the Antichrist Beast, and the last world empire, Babylon the Great. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, and you will see that before the gathering of the Church to Christ (the rapture), a great apostasy will appear leading to the revelation of the Man of Sin, the Antichrist Beast.

666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST, PART THREE by Jeff Wingo

In my previous two posts, 666: Calculating the Number of the Beast Part 1 and Part 2, we learned the correct way to calculate the number of the Beast. We also learned that king Solomon is a biblical type of the Antichrist. Continuing with Solomon, we see that at the beginning of his reign God blessed him with supernatural wisdom. However, later in his life Solomon turned from the Lord God and began to serve the god of this world.

“For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods” (1 Kings 11:4-8).

I should add at this point that these were not imaginary gods. The people may have set up a stone or bronze image of a god or a goddess, but the ancient gods of Babylon and Canaan were empowered by the Fallen Ones.

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils (1 Corinthians 10:19-21.

Yea, they (backslidden Israel) sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood (Psalm 106:37-38).

There is a real spiritual power behind these entities, possibly accompanied by a visible, tangible, manifestation before the people and the temple priests (the same type of visual manifestation found in many modern alien and UFO accounts). It was a reality so intoxicating that it caused the kings of Israel and the people of the nation to surrender their will (individually and collectively), as well as their little children, to the image of the beast. Why else would Solomon, the wisest man on Earth at that time abandon the God of heaven and surrender the future of Israel and the children of his nation to the power of the priests and idols like those that he did?

All of the gods listed at 1 Kings 11:4-8 are essentially the same being: Milcom, Molech, Chemosh, Molech, Baal-hamon, were also known in North Africa and Greece as the sun-god Kronos/Cronus. The Romans also associated Molech or Moloch with the god Saturn, an ancient cosmic deity worshipped by the Israelites during the 40 years spent in the wilderness with Moses. Later, Solomon, Manasseh, and many of the other kings of Israel worshiped the god Saturn in the Temple proper as well.

Amos 5:25-26: Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Acts 7:43: Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

The ancient worshippers of Saturn knew him as a bloody god, one who, according to the myths, devoured his own children; and so in like manner, the worshippers of Saturn offered their own children to the image of the god, truly an image of the Beast. We see this symbolically in the Bible, as Satan the Great Red Dragon is also a devourer of children. In Revelation 12:1-5, the Dragon waits for the birth of Jesus so that he may devour him as soon as he is born.

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

To be clear, the Romans considered that Saturn was the same god as the Greek Cronus. Historically, the Greek chronicler Diodorus Siculus provided this description of Cronus, the Carthaginian fire god:

“There was in their city a bronze image of Cronus extending its hands, palms up and sloping toward the ground, so that each of the children when placed thereon rolled down and fell into a sort of gaping pit filled with fire.”

I find it incredible that human beings could be so deceived (and depraved) that they would offer their own children to a burning idol in this manner. We tend to think of ourselves as more sophisticated than ancient people; but today our culture (and those around the world) also continue this very same practice as they freely offer up little children to the image of the beast.

The ritual act of abortion is a continuation of the bloody sacrifice to the god of self and pleasure. The Elites of our world have created a convenient altar for their bloody sacrifices to continue, sacrifices to the ancient sun-god, Saturn/Satan. It is true that Satan transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), an ancient image of the sun—Saturn/ Cronus or Helios Apollo, or, as the book of Revelation reveals, Apollyon, the king of the infernal Abyss (Revelation 9:11).

The Symbol of Gold: Immortality, Power, and Idolatry

Gold is a symbol of wealth, power, and status. It is also not a bad thing in the Bible: Abraham was rich in gold and silver (Genesis 13:2), the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant was made of pure gold (Exodus 25:17; 37:6), and the Wise Men brought the Christ child gold (Matthew 2:11).

Yet, gold is also a symbol of idolatry, for instance the golden calf worshipped at the foot of Sinai (Exodus 32:1-6). Historically, gold is likewise a symbol for immortality; in keeping with many of the ancient mystery religions, the Alchemists of old vainly tried to turn base metals like lead into gold.

The alchemical goal is actually an attempt through occult ritual to turn humanity into the gold of the gods; it is an upward reach for the stars, to achieve an apotheosis without the need of the God of heaven. Many of the ancient Mystery religions (and today secret societies) promised transformation or godhood to the highest adepts through the application of occult gnosis, or the hidden knowledge of the gods.

Solomon is an example in the Bible of a man who forsakes the God of heaven, for the secret gnosis of the Fallen Ones. In all reality, for humanity, like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, reaching to be “like” the gods is a vain attempt, indeed, a lie. Solomon realized this too late; later, filled with regret he cried out, “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2).

Solomon sacrificed his relationship with the God of heaven, and the future of Israel, for sensual pleasures and the occult gnosis of Satan, the god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4). Ultimately, that is what Satan promises—the gnosis of the gods, and personal transformation, to be as gods, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:5). Over the untold centuries, many people have found out, just as Solomon did, that Satan’s promises come at a great cost, and finally, are empty lies.

Revelation 13:18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

In part one, 666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST, we stepped back from all the hype and speculation concerning the number of the Beast. The heart of the issue for us today, in the 21st century, is how do we figure out the true meaning of the number 666? How should we “count” the number as the apostle John instructed us, so that we can fully understand the implications of the number and the identity of the Beast?

I believe when the apostle John wrote the book of Revelation his desire was to impart wisdom and understanding to the Church, not cause us to engage in useless speculation regarding an unsolvable mystery. After all, the last verse of chapter 13 begins with these words—“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast…” From all of this, it is obvious that the “wisdom” to which John was referring is biblical wisdom. Let us be like the prophet Daniel who sought the Lord for wisdom and understanding.

Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days (Daniel 10:14).

Seeking the Wisdom of the Lord

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding (Proverbs 4:7).

In this study, it is my hope (with the leading of the Holy Spirit), to come to a biblical understanding regarding this issue so that we can correctly “count” the number. There are probably other ways to go about this, so, what I present here is just a small piece of the puzzle. I do not pretend to have all the answers nobody has all the answers. Like you, I “see through a glass darkly” (1 Corinth. 13:12). Nevertheless, it is my belief that the Bible has all the answers we need for this or any other issue in life. As we move forward, God will lead us to a greater understanding as we study and pray. In addition, I am fully convinced that when the Antichrist Beast does appear he will not catch us off guard—the Lord will provide discernment and wisdom to every member of His true Church.

What we discovered in part 1 is that the Greek word psēphizō (Strong’s G5585), translated in our English Bible as “count,” means much more than just counting or calculating the sum total of a group of numbers. We cannot just arbitrarily pick the name of a famous personality and see if their name adds up to 666 using Hebrew or Greek gematria. That is the problem; we have to go one more step. Going on, we see that the word psēphizō also means to give one’s vote by casting a pebble into an urn; to decide by voting.

Now, as I explained, the Greek word psēphizō originates from a root word, psēphos, (Strong’s G5586), which refers to “a small worn smooth stone, a pebble” used to cast a vote in a court of law. For instance, the members of the jury used the stones to cast a vote to decide whether a defendant was guilty or innocent; “in the ancient courts of justice the accused were condemned by black pebbles and acquitted by white.”

However, in order to come to a proper understanding regarding the legal case before them the members of a jury must listen to all of the facts. Only in this way, can one come to a logical conclusion and properly vote to acquit or condemn the defendant. Applying this to 666, the number of the Beast, means that before we calculate the number of a name, and vote on a candidate for the Antichrist, we must consider all the facts in the case. Once we consider all of the facts (as found in many biblical examples), then we can vote, and apply the number 666 to the correct person, who is the Antichrist, the Beast of the book of Revelation.

Therefore, our task is to search the Bible and study the facts it provides regarding the Antichrist. The clues are there; God did not present us with an unsolvable mystery and then cast us adrift on the waves of subjective speculation. To be honest, everything we need to know about the Antichrist Beast and the infamous 666 is in the Bible. Our task is to take the time, search the Scriptures, and discover the facts. Only by searching out the matter will we have the correct information to solve the enigma of the number of the Beast, 666.

KING SOLOMON: A TYPE OF THE ANTICHRIST BEAST

Without doubt, Solomon is one of the most enigmatic figures in the Bible. He began his reign with the blessings of God, and it seems as if God showered Solomon with an overabundance of wealth and wisdom. Yet Solomon gradually drifted away from the wisdom and blessing of the God of heaven. In turn, he sought out the forbidden gnosis or occult knowledge of the god of this world. Tragically, Solomon descended into blatant idolatry and evil, that is the biblical record.

“For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods” (1 Kings 11:4-8).

Let us take note that every one of the demon gods named in 1 Kings 11:4-8 required human sacrifice. Ashtoreth was a cultic fertility goddess, whose religious ceremonies corrupted every culture that it touched. Ashtoreth (same as the Babylonian Ishtar), was an ancient Canaanite fertility (and war) goddess, androgynous in nature, who was worshipped through sacred prostitution. This caused considerable harm to the people God as they descended into an abyss of wickedness and moral debauchery through male and female temple prostitution. The worship of Ashtoreth literally destroyed the foundations of the family and the nation because of two things, namely, appalling immorality and child sacrifice.

This should all sound very familiar to you in 21st century America because we have the same wicked behavior going on, and all of it has the “sacred” sanction of the United States government and the Supreme Court.

As we progress through this study you will see parallels to todays culture and society. It is true that, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it” (George Santayana).  This is especially true in American politics, as we see daily on the national news.

So far in the series we have looked at the biblical links to the number of the Beast, 666. As we have learned, there are some very interesting correlations between the number and it meaning. Lets look at another aspect of this number.

When John wrote the verse he intended that we would use wisdom and examine the biblical text for clues that reveal the meaning behind the number. In this way we will be able to count the number of the Beast, and discover what John meant when he said “its the number of a man.”

Revelation 13:18:  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

In earlier parts of this series we learned that one of the men John wanted us to examine was king Solomon and his link to the number 666, as well as the evil apostasy he led the nation of Israel into near the end of his rule. Solomon abandoned the God of Heaven for the occult gnosis or hidden knowledge of the god of this world, Lucifer, the Light-Bearer. The Apostle Paul warned us about the abilities of Lucifer/Satan to alter his appearance so that his doctrines look very appealing to humanity.

As most of you know, Lucifer and his fallen ones still come to humans as an angel of light, bearing gnosis or knowledge that appeals to “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” (1 John 2:16).  He still wants us to pluck fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but in the end the fruit he offers is actually bitter poison. It destroys our relationship with God, with other people, and can lead to a very bitter end for many, not just in this world, but in eternity as well.

Before the ancient Israelites entered the Promised Land Moses sent 12 spies to examine the land and its inhabitants. God had promised a land flowing with milk and honey, which is a way of saying that the land would be a land of blessing, bounty, and plenty. All of their needs would be met once they entered the land, conquered its inhabitants, and began a new life under the authority of God.

After the 12 spies returned from their exploration, 10 of the men brought an evil report which discouraged the majority of the children of Israel from entering the land. They said they saw the Nephilim giants and refused to believe that God would help them conquer the giants and take the land.

As many of you know, because of this heart of unbelief God banished the unbelieving generation to the wilderness for a period of 40 years, or,  until they were all dead. In the end their children entered the land and conquered the Nephilim giants under the leadership of Joshua.

One of the 12 spies was a man by the name of Sethur, and his father’s name was Michael. It is here in the book of Numbers that we see another clue revealing 666, the number of the Beast. And remember, it is the number of a man, so here is another man with a connection to the number.

Numbers 13:13: Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael.

According to Dr. Adam Clark the Hebrew name Sethur equals 666:

              ס 60 + ת 400 + ו 6 + ר 200 = 666

This is the one place in the Bible where it seems the gematria works out to 666. As strange as it seems, once we examine the meaning of the names it will become abundantly clear why the Holy Spirit placed this signpost in the ancient book of Numbers.

The following is adapted from my book, Alien Antichrist, The Terrifying Truth about UFOs and Aliens, Antichrist, and the End of Days, and as such this research is copyright 2014, Jeffrey A. Wingo.

The Hebrew name Cĕthuwr Sethur means “hidden, to hide, conceal, mysterious.” The name also means, “destroying.”  {1} The father of Sethur is a man named Michael, which means, “who (is) like God.” {2}

Taking all of this into consideration, and placing the clues side by side, the name Sethur and his father Michael mean: “the hidden one, the destroyer, who is like God.” {3}

Apollyon/Abaddon, the Beast from the abyss also means Destroyer. He is the hidden one, because he is currently in the prison of Tartarus, deep in the Earth. His name means Destroyer, and he desires to be like God. {4}

Another clue is found at Ezra 2:13: “The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.”

This verse is from a listing of families who are returning to Jerusalem from Babylon after the 70 year captivity. It seems so strange to have information about the number 666 at this point in Scripture, but there is a very good reason it is placed here.

The first clue is the city of captivity, Babylon. And Babylon the Great will be the city of captivity during the Great Tribulation (see Revelation chapter 18). Also, a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem will one day be the focal point of the entire world when the Antichrist Beast enters the sacred precincts of the Temple, proclaims that he is God, and demands that the Jewish nation of Israel and the world worship him as such.

The name Adonikam means “a lord rising up,” or a lord risen. {5}  According to Dr. John Gill, “the number of Adonikam’s posterity is 666, Ezr. 2:13; whose name signifies “a lord rising up”, or “risen”; and suits very well with antichrist, who is risen up, and assumes a lordly domination over the kings of the earth.” {6}

When put all the clues together we find they point directly at Apollyon/Abaddon, the Beast from the abyss.

“It is very clear that all of this points to Apollyon the Beast from the abyss! At present he is hidden away in Tartarus. His name means destroyer, and he desires to be like God. In his former days he was the king of Babylon, and when he is released from the abyss he will once again assume that title and position as the king of an Empire called Babylon the Great.” From Alien Antichrist by Jeffrey A. This is what John meant when he said to count the number of the Beast. These clues, hidden deep in the pages of the Bible, your Bible, reveal the meaning behind the number 666 and point to the identity of the Antichrist Beast. This is what John meant when he said:

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

 

It should be abundantly clear that all of the information in this series of articles reveals the identity of the Antichrist as the Beast from the abyss. I realize this may not satisfy every person out there, but the information I have given you is BIBLICAL, that is the main thing. There is too much information out there based on speculation and opinion, but my point is that we need to get back to the Word of God, the Bible.

Also please note that my information comes from the authorized King James Bible, so if you are using a modern translation you may find that some of this information will not be revealed by a few of the more  modern translations, especially paraphrased creations like one as loose as the Message Bible. I am not King James Only, and I am certainly not legalistic about Bible versions, but if you do some checking you may find that the old venerable King James Bible was put together by godly, scholarly, men who translated the Bible using very strict protocols, and they didn’t play linguistic gymnastics like some of the other versions seem to do at times–just my opinion, yours may differ on this subject!

In the Garden of Eden after the tragic fall of our first parents Adam and Eve, God spoke a word to them, and to the serpent,  regarding the Great War of the Ages that would soon begin to unfold between the seed of the serpent, and the seed of the woman.

Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

This is the point at which God placed a natural enmity between the two seeds, that of the serpent, and that of the woman. The word enmity means “a feeling or condition of hostility; hatred; ill will; animosity; antagonism.” {1} And that is exactly what we have between the human race and the fallen spiritual powers. Specifically, the war is between Satan the fallen cherub, and Jesus, the Son of God.

When Jesus took upon Himself the nature of a human man he, as theanthropos, the God-Man, forever genetically linked Himself with the human race.

  • Hebrews 2:9:  But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
  • Hebrews 2:14:  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.
  • Hebrews 2:16:  For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

I believe the Fallen One knew that the Eternal Son of God would one day be born of the seed of the woman, which specifically refers to the virgin birth through Mary (see Matt.1:18-25; Lk.1:26-38). That is one of the reasons that particular doctrine is so hated by so many people, and also hated by the Fallen Ones as well: because it assures their defeat by the seed of the woman, Jesus Christ, just as predicted at Genesis 3:15.

So, with the fall of humanity, the Serpent had an inroad, and he took full advantage of the weaknesses and sinful proclivities of the human race. In the midst of human sin, a group of Fallen Angels abandoned their natural domain, and began a mission to thoroughly corrupt the genetic structure of humanity; thus assuring (or so they thought), that with the corruption of the human genome it would be impossible to produce the seed of the woman.

According to Genesis 6 these Fallen Angels abandoned their spiritual body (Greek, oikētērion; Strong’s G3613). We find proof of this from the Apostle Jude:

  • Jude 1:6:  And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

The word habitation is the Greek word oikētērion which refers to their body. The word is only used in one other place in the NT, at 2 Cor. 5:2, where Paul states that Christian believers desire to trade their earthly body (oikētērion) for an eternal spiritual body (oikētērion). The English word here is house, which is the Greek oikētērion.

“For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven.”

While I do not understand all of the specifics here, Jude seems to be saying that these fallen beings somehow shed the inter-dimensional spiritual components of their body, or, that their inter-dimensional body was somehow transformed (possibly a reverse process?) into a body that is earthly, and that the new body, through this process, because it has its own DNA, is also DNA compatible with humans. {2}

The offspring produced by the Fallen Ones are called Nephilim, a human/angel hybrid. This was a grave sin in the eyes of God and as a result the flood was sent to cleanse the Earth. The fallen angels who instigated this kind of rebellion against the Creator were cast into the dark prison of the abyss, or Tartarus.

2 Peter 2:4: For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment…

These fallen angels were placed in a dark prison called Tartarus. They are being reserved for the Great Tribulation as instruments of judgment. When released they will go forth as locusts covering the Earth with an invasion unlike anything ever seen since the creation of the universe. They are intricately associated with the revelation of the Antichrist Beast who arises from his tomb of darkness into the light of an astonished world (see Revelation chapter 9).

The number 666 links these fallen angelic locusts with the Antichrist Beast, and with their progeny the Nephilim of an earlier time in Earth history.

Everyone is familiar with the story of David and Goliath, but did you know that Goliath had four brothers and they were Nephilim, or the descendants of the Nephilim? According to Unger’s Bible Dictionary Goliath and his brothers (2 Sam.21:19) were probably descendants of the old Rephaim, who were the remnants of the giants or Nephilim. {3}

1 Samuel 17: 4:  And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.  And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.  And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.  And the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam; and his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.

Here in this description of Goliath and the war equipment he carried; the number of implements reveals the infamous number of the Antichrist Beast, 666.

Goliath was 6 cubits tall, he carried a spear’s head which weighed  6 hundred shekels of iron, and he carried 6 different types of armor including the spearhead. This links Goliath with the rebellion of the Nephilim and war against God–for he was dressed in the number of the ultimate spirit of antichrist, the Beast of the book of Revelation.

It further ties Goliath as a sign of the Beast of Revelation and the number 666 because he is a descendant of another incursion of Fallen Ones at the time of the Tower of Babel, or soon thereafter, because Abraham encountered the Rephaim in his war with the kings (Gen.14:5).

Another Clue of the Antichrist Beast 

2 Samuel 21:20: And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.

Here the Rephaim giant has 6 fingers on each hand and 6 toes on each foot.  So here we have 666 plus an extra 6 (see if you can figure out where the other 2–6’s are and let me know!). This proves the tie-in with the Nephilim progeny of the Fallen Ones, and the number associated with the Beast–because the Beast himself, Apollyon/Abbadon is the King of the abyss, and the number of his name is associated with 666.

All of these clues point to the Beast from the Abyss. As John revealed the name of the Beast 3 times, so these clues provide a link to the number.

666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST, PART THREE by Jeff Wingo

As we studied in the last article, later in life King Solomon became a type of the Antichrist Beast. He is one of the signs in the Bible that point to the identity of the Antichrist. Once we study all of the relevant information then we will have enough facts to “cast a vote” to decide the case before us, Antichrist vs. God, and the People of Earth.

As the Bible reveals, Solomon departed from Yahweh, the God of heaven, and began to follow the occult gnosis or hidden knowledge of the god of this world. Paul called Satan the theos or god of this world (2 Cor.4:4); the English world is the Greek word aiōn or age–which refers to the current period of time until the redemption of all things and Christ returns.

Jesus called Satan the prince or archon of this world (John 12:31). The Greek archon refers to his present position as the chief ruler of the evil world system or kosmos, during the present aion or age.

The kosmos in turn refers to the ungodly world system we are surrounded by; concerning the lost mass of humanity it refers to “the ungodly multitude; the whole mass of men alienated from God, and therefore hostile to the cause of Christ.”  (Thayer-Strong’s G2889 – kosmos); concerning the things of this world it refers to ” the whole circle of earthly goods, endowments riches, advantages, pleasures, etc., which although hollow and frail and fleeting, stir desire, seduce from God and are obstacles to the cause of Christ” (Thayer, Ibid). Considering all of this John rightly states that “the whole world lieth in wickedness” (1 John 5:19). What that means is that the whole world “lies in the power of the evil one, i.e., is held in subjection by the devil” (Thayer).

Both Solomon and the Antichrist Beast are followers of the same corrupted leader, the Archon or Chief Ruler of the kosmos or world system. Satan corrupted both kings; he used Solomon to work evil on Earth among Israel and the surrounding nations; thus extending a corrupting influence to many other lands; and in the future Satan will use the Antichrist Beast to corrupt and destroy the great majority of mankind during the Tribulation.

What did Solomon get in exchange for this? All in all it spoiled and corrupted the nation of Israel. This later resulted in the division of the nation; Judah in the South, and Israel in the north. Is it without doubt that Solomon was mightily deceived, but was he deceived by these demon gods because they visually appeared to him as God has done earlier in his life? Is it possible that Moloch appeared as a visual manifestation in much the same way that alien beings appear to people today?

Concerning idol worship Paul wrote:

“What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?  But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils” (1 Cor.10:19-21).

Because Solomon was directly involved with the worship of fallen beings he may have had a visitation. After all, these are the same beings who now appear to people as aliens.

Think about this: the aliens that many people are longing to meet have been here in the past–they are the ancient gods of blood and sacrifice, Moloch, and all of the other incarnations. Now they pretend to be aliens!

666-mark-of-the-beast_jpg_w560h420The Bible reveals the true identity of the Antichrist; its been hidden in plain sight in YOUR copy of the Bible. Significantly, John the Revelator exposed the identity of the Antichrist within the text of the book of Revelation three times so that Christians in the future will not be deceived. I believe John intended that we would use the number 666; and that we would search the biblical text for the meaning of the number, further exposing the identity of the Beast. All of the information in these articles will help you to know how to apply the number 666 to the biblical text of both Testaments; these biblical types found in the text will reveal the meaning behind the number.

Who is the Antichrist? John revealed his identity three times:

  • Rev. 11:7:  And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
  • Rev.17:8: The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Revelation 9:11 places a name on the Beast:

And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

It is significant that the name of the Beast is Destroyer. Just as Jesus came to save his people from their sin (Matt.1:21), so the beast will destroy his people through sin, as the man of sin (2 Thess. 2:3); he is the son of perdition, which means destruction.

Another King, Nebuchadnezzar, set up an image on the plain of Dura:

“Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits (60), and the breadth thereof six cubits (6): he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon…That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer (6 instruments), and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up”  (Daniel 3:1, 5).

Here in Daniel chapter 3 is another revelation of the number of the Beast, 666. The image is 60 cubits high, and six cubits wide. The dimensions of the image provide us with 2-6’s. Count the number of musical instruments in verse five and it reveals the third 6, for the signpost of Antichrist, 666.

Why is the number 666 tied in with this verse? As I explained in an earlier article called, Creation of the Image of the Beast, the number 666 points to the Antichrist Beast and the image that will be created in the mind of the beast followers during the Tribulation. This image will cause the beast followers to worship the Beast through the mental image. This is just another confirmation that Apollyon is the Beast who will arise from the abyss to assume his position as the end-time Antichrist.

666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST, PART TWO by Jeff Wingo

Revelation 13:18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

In part one,  666: CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST,  we looked at what the Apostle John really meant when we wrote, “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast…”

What we discovered is that the word count is the Greek word psēphizō (Strong’s G5585), means much more than just counting, computing, or adding the sum of a name to see if the name value equals 666.  It also means to vote, as in a court of law, by casting a pebble into an urn, to decide a case by voting.

Now, as I explained, the Greek word psēphizō is related to another word, psēphos, (Strong’s G5586  ) which refers to “a small worn smooth stone, a pebble” used to cast a vote in court to decide whether the defendant was guilty or innocent; “in the ancient courts of justice the accused were condemned by black pebbles and acquitted by white.”

However, in order to come to a proper conclusion regarding a case the members of a jury must listen to all of the facts. Only in this way can one come to a logical conclusion and properly vote to acquit or condemn the defendant.

So, our task is to search the Bible, study the facts it provides, and in this way solve the enigma of the number of the Beast, 666.

Without doubt, Solomon is one of the most enigmatic figures in the Bible. He begins his reign with the blessings of God, and it seems as if God showers Solomon with an over abundance of wealth and wisdom. Yet Solomon gradually drifted away from the wisdom and blessing of the God of heaven, for the hidden gnosis or knowledge of the god of this world.

“For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.  For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.  And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.  Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.  And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods” (1 Kings 11:4-8).

 

It should be noted that every one of these demon gods required human sacrifice. Ashtoreth was a cultic fertility goddess which resulted in the moral debauchery of the people through both male and female temple prostitution. This literally destroyed the foundation of the family and the nation, not only because of its immorality, but because it also included child sacrifice.

It should be equally noted at this point that these were not imaginary gods; by that I mean, these gods were empowered by the Fallen Ones–there was a real spiritual power behind these entities, possibly accompanied by a visible, tangible, manifestation before the people and the temple priests (the same type of visual manifestation found in many modern UFO accounts). There was a reality to these beings, a reality so intoxicating that it caused the kings of Israel and the people to surrender their will (individually and collectively), as well as their little children, to the image of the beast.

All of the gods listed here are essentially the same being: Milcom, Molech,  Chemosh, Molech, Baal-hamon ,were also known in North Africa and Greece as the sun-god Kronos/Cronus. Molech or Moloch is also associated by the Romans with the god Saturn, an ancient cosmic deity worshipped by the Israelites during the 40 years spent in the wilderness with Moses, and later in the Temple proper by Solomon, Manasseh, and many of the other kings of Israel.

Amos 5:25-26:  Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Acts 7:43:  Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Saturn was seen as the devourer of his own children, and so others offered their own children to the image of this god, the image of the Beast. Symbolically we also see the devourer of children in Revelation 12:4: there the Dragon waits for the birth of Jesus so that he may devour him as soon as he is born.

Historically, the Greek chronicler Diodorus Siculus provided this description of Cronus, the Carthaginian fire god:

“There was in their city a bronze image of Cronus extending its hands, palms up and sloping toward the ground, so that each of the children when placed thereon rolled down and fell into a sort of gaping pit filled with fire.”

It is incredible that human beings could be this deceived that they would offer their children in this manner. We tend to think of ourselves as more sophisticated than ancient people; but today our culture (and cultures around the world) also continue this practice offering up little children to the image of the beast–the image of self and pleasure, through the ritual act of abortion.

The Symbol of Gold: Immortality, Power, and Idolatry

Gold is a symbol of wealth, power, and status. It is also not a bad thing in the Bible: Abraham was rich in gold and silver, the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant was made of pure gold, and the Wise Men brought the Christ child gold. Gold is also a symbol of idolatry, for instance the golden calf worshipped at the foot of Sinai. Historically, gold is likewise a symbol for immortality; in keeping with the ancient mystery religions, the old Alchemists vainly tried to turn base metals like lead into gold.

The alchemical goal is actually an attempt to turn humanity into the gold of the gods; it is an upward reach for the stars, to achieve an apotheosis without the need of the God of heaven. Many secret societies and the ancient Mystery religions also promised transformation or godhood to the highest adepts through the application of gnosis, or the knowledge of the gods. Solomon is an example in the Bible of a man who forsakes Yahweh, the God of heaven, for the secret gnosis of the Fallen Ones. In all reality it is a vain attempt: Solomon later filled with regret cried out, “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity”  (Ecclesiastes 1:2).

The Bible exposes our minds to the enigmatic symbolism of the Antichrist Beast through Solomon, the backslidden king of Israel:

2 Chronicles 9:13:  Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold.

Of course this gold came to Solomon because of his economic and military policies: Through heavy taxation upon the people, and through the ships and other traders employed by the king. A verse from Revelation 13 comes to mind. It exposes the economic policy of the New World Order once the Beast seizes the reins of power:

Rev. 13:16-17:  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The number 666 is associated with economic and religious power. Babylon the Great will be a wealthy empire for a short period of time. In order to buy or sell though, a person will have to submit to the will of the Beast by means of the image, which is an occult initiation that imprints the mind with a living image of the Beast, and the mark which tags a person as the property of both the Beast and the empire of Babylon the Great.

Human sacrifice will become common place in Babylon the Great. The Beast will make war against the saints (Dan. 7:21), and in Rev. 13:7, the Beast continues his war against the saints, and in doing so he will overcome or conquer them ( Strong’s G3528 – nikaō). Daniel 8:24 says the Beast will corrupt and destroy the “mighty and the holy people.”

According to Revelation 11: 7 “the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them (Christians, the saints), and shall overcome (kill) them.” Rev.13:10 tells us that during this time the saints will be tried and this experience will test “the patience and the faith of the saints.”  Rev.13:15 reveals that the cultic worship of the Beast will also test the saints of God because those who refuse to worship the Beast will be killed.

The religious aspects of Babylon the Great will so permeate world culture that the spiritual powers of the Beast, and the False Prophet, will be turned against the people of God causing them to become a sacrifice to Satan and the Beast system–so much so that the shedding of the blood of the saints will become a special type of spiritual communion among the followers of the Beast:

Rev.17:6: And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

During this time the saints of God will only be able to overcome the Beast “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;” in other words, through death by sacrifice, and they will yield to this mainly because they will not have a choice, and so it will be said that “they loved not their lives unto the death” (Rev.12: 11), and their testimony for Christ will shine for eternity like a sparkling diamond (Rev. 20: 4).

Friends, the coming Tribulation is much more than some Christians have made it out to be. I realize that Bible prophecy is fascinating, but lets not have any illusions: it will be a very difficult time.

The Golden Throne of Solomon

“Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold. And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:  And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom” (2 Chronicles 9: 17-19).

Here we see Solomon’s royal throne full of symbology directly related to the number of the Beast, 666. Of course we see items of wealth, ivory and gold, used to construct the throne. There is symbolism here as well but at this time I want to focus on the 6 six steps, and the 6 lions on each step mounted on both sides of the throne, giving a total of 12 lions. For it is here that we find the symbolism directly related to the Antichrist Beast and his number, 666.  In a fascinating manner the triple 6 is also related to another throne, one that in the future may be found in Jerusalem.

2 Thessalonians 2: 3b-4: …and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The throne of Solomon with its three 6’s points directly to this throne, the Throne of God as found in the Temple in Jerusalem. The throne symbolism also points to the human heart, because in the New Testament the temple of God is the human body, the heart of course being the center of the mind and emotions, especially the will.

 1 Cor. 3: 16:  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

God does give a very dire warning to those who would toy with the Beast and receive his image into the heart: “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Cor.3:17).

We are made in the image of God. Of course the image is more than just the human body, nevertheless, the Holy Spirit does inform us that our physical body is a container for His presence, and if the temple is defiled by the mark or image of the Beast, the consequences are very severe (Rev.14:9-11.)

The symbolism of Solomon points directly at the Beast of Revelation whose name and number are revealed as 666. Solomon turned into the Beast. The rabbit hole goes deep here, because as I revealed in my book, Alien Antichrist, my hypothesis is that the Beast of Revelation was a king during the days of Noah. He ruled the antediluvian world as the King of Babylon, and spiritually Babylon has always opposed the Kingdom of God and the people of God. Could that be why Babylon occurs 286 times in 282 verses of the King James Bible? Babylon is always evil, and Gods people always have to deal with its evil and idolatry. In fact, Isaiah links Babylon and its evil king with the symbol of Gold:

Isaiah 14:14:  That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

Historically, Babylon captured Jerusalem, the city of God, and made eunuchs of Gods royal people (Is. 39:7).  Throughout history Babylon is linked with idols and false gods, and symbolically Babylon has always labored to capture the city of God and turn God’s people into spiritual eunuchs. The king of Babylon is still doing this even today through the surrender of biblical doctrine and truth by millions of Christians all across the world. Many churches have capitulated to the spirit of antichrist and have become spiritual eunuchs in the eyes of God.

One day a new Solomon will arise and take his seat on the Throne of God and rule the world through a global empire called Babylon the Great. Don’t try to become popular in the eyes of Babylon by compromising the great truths of the Word of God. Don’t yield to the spirit of Antichrist and become a spiritual eunuch for the Beast.

Do you know how to calculate the number of the Beast? If we follow what the Bible has to say it will eliminate much of the confusion and useless speculation which has haunted all attempts to solve this enigma.

When the Apostle John wrote the Revelation he expected his readers to be able to calculate the number correctly. After all, he begins the verse with these words: “Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding count the number of the beast…”. In other words, John is saying the verse itself holds the key to understand the mystery–“Here is Sophia, which is the Greek word for wisdom. It specifically refers to understanding  that is “broad and full of intelligence; used of the knowledge of very diverse matters.” Thayer says that it is “the intelligence evinced in discovering the meaning of some mysterious number or vision.” The word sophia comes from a root sophos which refers to someone wise,  a skilled craftsman, a worker, a learned man, who forms the best plans and uses the best means to execute the plans.

So get ready, get your pencils sharpened, and allow the Bible and the Holy Spirit to guide us to the solution. The answer is not that difficult, and as you will learn, all of the answers are found in the history, the Law, and the prophets. Since the Bible is God’s book, where else would we look?

Calculating the Number

Revelation 13:18:  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

With wisdom and understanding through the Scriptures let us begin to count the number of the Beast.

The word count is a mathematical term. It does mean to “to count with pebbles, to compute, calculate, reckon.” But many people throughout the centuries stop there; and what they do is use gematria to try to match a name with the number 666.

Nero-Caesar-666-e1404339527796This can work with certain names, for instance, many in the early church and others in later history applied this to Nero, the Roman Emperor from 54 to 68 A.D.. But do we use Hebrew gematria or Greek?

In our example the name of Nero Caesar, or Greek Neron Kaisr (Kaiser)  equals the sum, 666. But is Nero the Antichrist? The truth is, he is a type of Antichrist because of his evil brutality against Christians, Jews, and others. But was he the Antichrist, the Beast John wrote about in Revelation? The answer is no, he was not the Antichrist. I have come to understand this because we are missing vital information needed to make a logical case proving the identity of the Antichrist Beast; and without that information we will be incorrect every time. That is why many people have been wrong and made fools of themselves and in the process, have discredited Bible prophecy in the eyes of the church and the world.

Did you know that in the 1980’s a few Christians (actually quite a lot more than just a few) were running around passing the word from church to church that Ronald Wilson Reagan was the Antichrist? Count the letters of his name and I bet you will end up with three 6’s.

Or, that the leader of the now defunct Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, was the antichrist because he had a birthmark on his forehead that some kooky Christians said resembled a dragon (of all things).

Henry Kissinger, the Pope (doesn’t matter, just pick one), Adolph Hitler, Napoleon, Pol Pot, Mussolini (although some Christians thought he was the False Prophet), Joseph Stalin, Chairman Mao; and the following, especially among American Christians, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, and (not surprised here) Barack Obama. All of these men have been accused (sadly) by Christians of being the Antichrist!

So with all this calculating going on I went online and found an English gematria calculator, and I couldn’t resist: Jeffrey Wingo = Ah, sorry, its 858, thank God my fears have been relieved, I am not the Antichrist!

The Apostle John did not intend that we should go through all of these numerical gymnastics.

What John intended was that we would use wisdom, “Here is wisdom.” Then he says, “Let him that hath understanding count the number of the Beast.”

The word count is the Greek word psēphizō (Strong’s G5585),  and it means to count with pebbles, to compute, calculate, reckon. It also means to explain by computing, in other words, to compute or put together the facts of a court case, to decide by voting.

Now in order to vote on a court case a jury must consider the facts of the case. Once the defense and prosecution have presented all of the facts the members of the jury must then consider those facts, and based on that information cast a vote of guilt or innocence.

So, in the ancient courts of justice, after the jury has heard all the facts, the accused were then condemned by either a black pebble or acquitted by a white pebble. That is what the Greek word  psēphizō means, and that is exactly what I believe John meant when he wrote, “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast…”

He didn’t mean to run off half-cocked and accuse political and religious leaders of being the Antichrist just because their name or title added up to 666. That is not using wisdom, but considering all of the facts of the case, Antichrist vs. God and the People of Earth, takes time, just like the time it takes to present all of the pertinent facts in a court of law.

 The Number 666

“for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Think about this: the number 666 is the number of a man. That being the case then perhaps we should find out all of the facts about that man. That research in turn will provide us with the identity of the man and demonstrate how he is related to the infamous number 666; and that information will allow us to properly calculate the number, correctly identifying the Antichrist Beast.

Here are some men (and one planet/god) in the Bible associated with the number 666, the number of the Beast:

  • King Solomon
  • King Nebuchadnezzar
  • Nephilim giants such as Goliath and others
  • Sethur
  • Adonikam
  • The planet Saturn–yes many of the ancient Israelites worshiped the planet Saturn.

Search the Bible for yourself and see if you make the connection between the number 666 and these men, and one cosmic deity, Saturn. Many Christians who read the Bible are actually startled to learn that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, actually had competition for worship in the Old Testament. In fact, many of the ancient Israelites worshipped Saturn during the period of time spent in the wilderness with Moses. Then, when they were settled in the land they went all out worshipping this entity; when in fact this entity is associated with the Beast of Revelation and the number 6, the number of man.

Once you see the connection to the number 666 it will lead to one incredible conclusion: The Bible does indeed reveal the true identity of the Antichrist Beast! No more guessing, no more questions, you will know for sure that the Bible holds the key to his identity. Then all of that foolish speculation will finally end!
