For years the debate has raged about the star of Bethlehem that arose in the night sky above Jerusalem, and brought the wise men to the birth place of the Christ child. Astronomers are apt to say that it was a conjunction between the planets Jupiter and Saturn, or perhaps a comet or a supernova. {1} Others take the story as a “pious fiction created by the author of Matthew.” {2} Of course there are those who say that the star was a UFO and that Jesus was an extraterrestrial being; perhaps that version might be found in The History Channel’s interpretation of the event. In fact, I expect that is exactly what they would say as the Ancient Alien propaganda machine rolls out another retelling of the Christmas story.

However, the Biblical story in Matthew recounts for us the real version of events regardless of what others may try to make out of it. The wise men  saw the new star appear in the Eastern sky, and from that sign they realized the time had come and a new King would be born in Israel.

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him (Matthew 2:1-2).

According the Barnes, “The original word here is μάγοι (magoi), from which comes our word magician, now used in a bad sense, but not so in the original. The persons here denoted were philosophers, priests, or astronomers. They lived chiefly in Persia and Arabia. They were the learned men of the Eastern nations devoted to astronomy, to religion, and to medicine. They were held in high esteem by the Persian court, were admitted as counselors, and followed to camps in war to give advise.” {3}

These wise men, the Magoi, were actually Persian kingmakers, and they had come to Jerusalem upon seeing a special star rise in the night sky. But where did the get their information? How did they know this star was a sign that a new king was to be born in Israel and not some other place? God has a way of setting things up.

Since He controls men and nations, and sets up kings and removes them, He naturally had a hand in this to announce to the world, in a very special way, the birth of His Son. Daniel in lions den

The factor that influenced the Magoi was the Prophet Daniel. As you may know, Daniel was very involved in managing the government of ancient Babylon. He served Kings Nebuchadnezzar, Nabonidus, and his regent son Belshazzar; and when the Medes and the Persians conquered Babylon, he also served them as well. In fact, it was while serving Darius the Mede that Daniel was cast into the lion’s den.

Now that one event, plus his life of integrity, placed a great value on Daniel in the eyes of the Magoi (Daniel was one of their own, according the biblical text). I am sure that over the centuries, Daniels writings, and the other texts of the Hebrew prophets were read and studied by the succeeding Magoi. Consider this prophecy from the book of Numbers:

I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth (Numbers 24:17).

Although many of the Rabbis attribute this prophecy to David, others like Maimonides said that it applied to both David and the coming Messiah. We see with hindsight and realize that Jesus Christ is called the Morning Star because He alone brought the light of salvation to all mankind (Revelation 22:16). So the star rising out of Jacob naturally applies to the nation of Israel, the sons of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to their new King, the promised Messiah.

The scepter of course speaks of kingship, so the Magoi interpreted this correctly that a king would be born, and that his birth would be signified by the rising of a special star. The timing of the event was predicted by Daniel:

375px-Merian's_Daniel_7_engravingKnow therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.  And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined (Daniel 9:25-26).

Messiah the Prince is of course Jesus Christ. The commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem occurred in 445- 444 B.C. when Artaxerxes Longimanus issued a decree to Nehemiah to rebuild the city walls(Neh.2:5-8).  The year is figured on a 360 day year following the custom of the ancient world:

Jewish Calendar

7×7 + 62 x 7 = 483 years x 360 days =173,880 days.

Gregorian Calendar

444 B.C. to A.D.33 =476 years. (There is no year between 1B.C and 1 A.D.). 476 years x 365 days= 173,740 days+116 days leap years+24 days (March 5 through March 30). = 173,880 days.

Either way you figure it the 483 years or 173,880 days both end in 32 or 33 A.D. which is the year of the crucifixion of Christ (depending on whether 445 B.C. or 444 B. C. is the correct year of the decree of Longimanus).

All that the Magoi had to do was subtract 30 years from 33 A. D. to arrive at the birth of the Messiah (30 years being the age of a Jewish priest). Note: According to Sir Robert Anderson in The Coming Prince, Christ entered Jerusalem on the 10th of Nisan, a Sunday, (Palm Sunday, 6th of April 32 A.D.).

When the Magoi saw the star and calculated the dates as given, the implication was clear: the prophecy of Daniel was coming to pass and a new king was born in Israel. Now you know why King Herod was so disturbed when the Magoi arrived in Jerusalem; he knew they were Persian kingmakers and had come specifically for that task–to worship the newborn King and to bestow upon him gifts of Royalty: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him (Matthew 2: 3).

Consequently Herod inquired of the Jewish priests where the Messiah was to be born, and they immediately turned to the prophet Micah who 500 years before said:

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting (Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:6).

The King was to be born in Bethlehem (the House of Bread by the way); and Herod and all Jerusalem knew that the Magoi were sent as a sign to the nation to announce the birth of the Messiah. When Jesus was rejected some 30 years later, and crucified on Calvary, the Jewish priests would have known these things. They were without excuse.

Crucifition Rembrant Christ was born at the appointed time, just as foretold by the prophets, and signified by a beautiful star over the nation, and the arrival of a caravan of Persian Kingmakers who had come as a result of the star and the fulfillment of the Bible prophecies of Moses and Daniel.

What was Herod’s reaction to the birth of the King? Murder of the innocents; and 30 years later what was the reaction of the Jewish leadership, those who should have known better? Murder through lies, denial, and crucifixion.

In the plan of God Christ shines as the Morning Star, bringing the light of salvation to all who will believe.

But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,  To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.  Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ (Galatians 4:4-7).
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
God gave His Son to the world through revelation of the prophetic word, through the sign of a star in the night sky, and in the flesh as a babe in the manger. Receive Christ today, He was born for you, died for you, and arose from the grave for you. And when the time comes He is coming back just as the prophets foretold. The question remains: is He coming back for you?

ALIEN DISCLOSURE: A REVELATION OF THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST by Jeff Wingo

imagesUUNEGMQLI don’t know about you but the picture to the left is rather startling in the message it is communicating. I was unable to find out the name of the artist who created it, but my guess is that he or she has an understanding of the coming strong delusion that is soon to engulf our world. That was my first thought when I ran across the image; it captures the truth that the aliens will take advantage of our desire for contact coupled with a sense of religious awe (a false sense of spirituality) that many people will experience when they see the aliens in the flesh for the first time. Realize this: the alien deception will take advantage of religious imagery that is deeply rooted in the human subconscious. This imagery linked with the alien image has been working in the cultural background in a powerful way in our modern world for over 70 years, or longer (actually it goes back further, even into antiquity).

As I looked at it another thought came to my mind which is this: when alien disclosure does take place, I can imagine there will be two or three reactions: fear, and a sense of awe coupled with a desire to worship them. You may disagree with me on that, but let me explain.

As we all know, when we are confronted with something unusual and unknown, fear will generally be our first reaction. But after our exposure to something strange and bizarre, a sense of curiosity will generally be our next reaction. We want to know more, and understand what we are confronted with.

Imagine for a moment what your reaction would be if you were confronted with a strange alien being, especially if that being used supernatural power as a demonstration of its superiority. What would you feel? How would you react? What response would you give to an alien entity that intends to subjugate your mind and emotions with a startling new reality?

As anyone who has experienced the UFO and alien phenomena can testify, fear is the first reaction, because you cannot believe it is happening. But, if you look at the history of aliens and UFOs, you can readily see that many people respond to it as they would a powerful religious experience. For proof of that just do a little research of the UFO and alien contactee movements. UFO and alien cults are everywhere, and there are thousands if not millions of people who desire alien contact because it provides them with an outlet for religious expression, even if they do not claim to be religious!

Alien saviorThe desire for an alien god runs deep in our culture, and even the atheist Richard Dawkins admitted in the Ben Stein film, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, that it is possible that a higher intelligence from somewhere in the universe may have seeded life on planet earth; leaving open the possibility that an alien intelligence may in fact be responsible for the creation of mankind.  As Ben Stein says in the film, “So Professor Dawkins was not against intelligent design, just certain types of designers, such as God…”. {1}

Incredibly, the Bible addressed this very idea almost 2,000 years ago:

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things (Romans 1: 22-23).

Many people today refuse the revelation of the God of heaven as revealed in the Bible; and so they make new gods out of the creation–whether those gods are man or beast. Indeed, I find it intriguing that Paul said the new gods of humanity will be other humans, birds (or any thing that flies, or has wings), and beasts, and creeping things, or, reptiles!

In fact, the word creeping things is the Greek word herpeton which refers to a reptile, specifically a snake, a SERPENT. {2}

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Revelation 12:9).

The worship of the Serpent was very common in the ancient world, and still is. In India, today, one may even find roadside temples dedicated to the worship of the snake. {3}

Naga1Don’t you find it interesting that John the Revelator said that during the Great Tribulation the world will worship the BEAST and the DRAGON, a creature that will come from the sky, in other words, a flying reptilian image?

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him (Rev.13:4).

Not only will mankind worship a Beast, but also a flying Dragon, an entity that comes from the sky, just like the subconscious image of a UFO piloted by an alien being who comes to earth from the sky, or, outer space (almost everyone on the planet has this image in the back of their mind, because of cultural conditioning, and influence from science fiction entertainment; it’s a powerful image that Satan will use to deceive the world in the last days).

Could all of this be the revelation of the spirit of antichrist for the last days? Could it be that the Antichrist will appear before the world as an Alien Beast? And could it be that the Dragon, a flying reptile, will subjugate mankind with a religious deception, hijacking deep-seated subconscious images of the powerful ancient gods of antiquity?

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie… (2 Thessalonians 2:11).

I find it intriguing that Paul linked the man of sin, the Antichrist, with a sign in the heavens.

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders…(2 Thessalonians 2:9).

The word wonders comes from the Greek word teras which means “something so strange as to cause it to be watched or observed.” {5} According to Thayer, the word also refers to a “prodigy, portent, a miracle; and a sign FROM THE HEAVENS!” {6}

What could be more strange than a reptilian Dragon called Satan who will pretend to be an alien god, returning to see how his genetic experiment turned out; maybe the world wants to believe the alien lie: in that case, it will appear that Dawkins was right.

THE RAGING BATTLE OF THE HIDDEN KINGS by Jeff Wingo

Now that we have demonstrated who the Host of Heaven are, we are going to look at how they operate on planet Earth. It is interesting to note that as we look at current events we have a tendency to focus only on the political players that we see, and the strife and war that rages across our world. The question we should ask is what is behind it all. This is something to think about because all of us have a stake in the peaceful survival of our planet.

I believe that most people want a chance to live in peace, raise their families, and enjoy the beautiful world God created for us. I don’t personally know anyone who says that they love war, and death, and destruction. Or, that they relish the thought of people dying from plagues and famine, and war. Yet that is exactly what we see: war spreading around the world; various factions vying for positions of power though manipulation and deceit; religious strife as one group destroys another; powerful Banksters who fund one group so that they may cause death and chaos–and then the same Banksters who make money from both groups as the war machine rages on.

Why does it have to be this way? Our world today is one of the most educated generations on planet earth–you would think that intelligent, educated people would want to promote peace and prosperity for all; but that is not the case, and it is, for the most part, the complete opposite of what we see. Have you ever ask yourself why, why is the world like this? Why is one nation destroying another; why are religious fanatics raging and brutalizing one another, and destroying innocents in the process; why are the leaders of industry and the Banksters funding crooked politicians so that they can influence policies to enslave their fellow-man with low wages, so that they, the bankers, the leaders of industry, and deceptive crooked politicians may personally prosper from that cheap, expendable labor–how do these people sleep at night?

In the United States I am watching the destruction of our Constitution (by two totally corrupt political factions); yet our Constitution is one of the most important documents in world history–and applied properly it works to free the common man to grow and prosper, benefitting all.

Yet Since World War Two, when the United States military, the OSS (Office of Strategic Services), and State Department decided to import Nazi scientists and others (Operation Paperclip {2}), our country has, over the years, also contributed to the death, destruction, and chaos that we see raging across the world. How is it possible that the “City set on a hill” took to its bosom the sons of Hitler, adopted their technology, many of their tactics, and much of their philosophy, and used that to infect United States policy in many ways? Some of the fallout of this was the MKULTRA program and an entire generation of Americans experimented on with LSD and other toxic substances.  Is it any wonder that we are now reaping the whirlwind? Even the Bible addresses this: “For they have sown to the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up” (Hosea 8:7). Yet our leaders are blind–or are they? The powerful have sold out their fellow-man so they that may gain even more power–“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority, still more when you superadd the tendency or the certainty of corruption by authority.“ (John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton, 1st Baron Acton, 1834-1902). {3}

While we see politicians, kings, dictators, and others robbing the common man, corrupting the system, and creating chaos for their own political and economic gain, behind the scenes operate powerful spiritual forces raging in a seemingly never-ending war between good and evil. (Some of these politicians, kings, and dictators know who they are actually serving, others only shudder if they think about it at all).

Yet, what is the endgame? Where is it all going? I hope you will agree with me that it is only through the wisdom of the biblical prophets that we can make any sense out of it all; and I believe that once we look through the lens of the Bible, historical as well as contemporary events will begin to make sense.

THE PROPHET DANIEL WONDERED ABOUT ALL OF THIS TOO!

As many of you know, Daniel was caught up in the events of his day. In his earlier years he was taken captive by the military forces of the Babylonian King, Nebuchadnezzar when they invaded Israel. Later, Daniel proved to the King his worth as an interpreter of dreams and events, and as a man of God who served wisely in the foreign court of Babylon.

Yet Daniel was concerned with the future of his homeland, and for the people of the nation of Israel. Because of this he began to fast and pray, repenting for the sins of the nation and seeking wisdom and understanding from the God of Heaven.

In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled (Daniel 10:2-3).

During this time Daniel didn’t know that behind the scenes a spiritual battle was raging. When an angel does appear he informs Daniel that he was engaged in this battle by other powerful spiritual beings who stood in his way, holding him back from appearing to Daniel for twenty-one days.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.  But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.  Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days (Daniel 10:12-14).

According to the language of the verse, the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia withstood him, or, “stood over against me. The fair meaning is, that he resisted or opposed him; that he stood over against him, and delayed him on his way to Daniel” (Barnes Commentary).

I am of the opinion that this portion of Scripture provides us with a small glimpse of the war that is occurring in the spiritual dimension. Perhaps the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia rules that nation from the spiritual dimension acting as an influence to the human kings of Persia–who are under the influence of Satan. It is reasonable to conclude that the Prince is a fallen entity because he opposed the angel who was engaged to appear to Daniel. The Prince of the Kingdom of Persia did not want Daniel to receive the angel’s message, a message that originated with God.

The Apostle Paul describes the four tier hierarchy of fallen angelic entities that rule the world through sinful, corrupt, economic and political leaders, as well as religious leaders given over to the spirit of the age.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

Most of you are already very familiar with Ephesians 6:12. It reveals the spiritual powers who administer the zeitgeist or spirit of the age. The principalities are the Archons that run the entire show, Satan being chief among them. The powers refers to exousia or spiritual authorities and are entities who rule under the Archons. The rulers of the darkness of this world refer to beings called Kosmokrators. These beings operate under the authority of the Archons and the exousia or Authorities.

It should be noted that the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia is probably a Kosmokrator; because these beings rule the world directly through flesh and blood human beings. They rule over the spiritual darkness of the current world system.

The last beings that Paul writes of here are entities that he called spiritual wickedness in high places. They are the poneria epouranios or the wicked spirits of the heavens, or the lower regions of the atmosphere of the earth. They are responsible for pushing evil desires and purposes among the sons of Adam. It should be noted that these beings are depraved and commit deeply wicked acts against human beings with extreme malice.

These four types of spiritual beings, fallen angels, are the moving force of wickedness among the nations of the Earth. Couple their actions with the sinful and depraved actions of human beings and now you can see why there is so much evil in the world.

All of the evil things we see in the news and in everyday life are empowered by these fallen entities. Were it not for the grace of God we would be completely run over by these entities. Thank God for salvation through Jesus Christ, without that there would truly be no hope. But there is HOPE.

One day God will judge the world. He will judge these four types of fallen entities, and He will also judge sinful humanity.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth (Isaiah 24:21).

 

All of the wicked acts that are committed will stop, and Christ will rule and reign over the kings of the Earth–and in a New Heaven and a New Earth God will finally dwell with humanity. It will be peace and blessing forever and ever.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.(Rev. 21:3-4).

You can make it to the New Earth only through Jesus Christ. He provides the way of salvation. Eternal life is found only through Him by faith; and faith is simply trusting in the promises of God.

The gospel of Christ is so simple–Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and He was buried, and three days later he arose from the dead. If you place your faith in Christ, He will forgive your sin and grant you eternal life. Receive Him today, and through Jesus you will win the spiritual war!

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:9-10,13).

THE IDENTITY OF THE HOST OF HEAVEN by Jeff Wingo

The Bible clearly identifies the Host of Heaven. It is a figurative title describing both the unfallen holy angels, as well as the fallen hosts of Satan. While the term can refer to the material universe, such as the stars and the visible planets, in Scripture it usually denotes the vast multitude of angels in the spiritual hierarchy of the regions of heaven.

As I wrote in my book, Alien Antichrist,  “God warned Israel over and over not to worship the sun, moon, and stars, and all the host of heaven, because He knew that in the end it would lead to the worship of fallen entities” (pg. 106).

  •  And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven (Deut. 4:19)
  • And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded…(Deut. 17:3).
  • And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal (2 Kings 17:16).

Out of this worship of the heavens a complex cosmology developed–the stars, constellations, and visible planets became the symbolic representation of the fallen gods. It is even possible that the ‘gods’ they worshipped would visibly materialize they same way that the alien gods do today. In fact, there is no reason why that cannot be true, after all, the ancient gods of yesterday are the same alien gods who appear to people today. Going further, they are the same gods that channelers  are contacting today. The entities are the same spiritual beings, except now they claim to be aliens from the Zeta Reticuli star system, and other exotic places in the universe.

HilldrawingIn fact, that’s what Betty Hill believed, and she even drew a star map {1} that supposedly displays the Zeta Reticuli system, at least according to the research of teacher Marjorie Fish (late 1960’s); and from that ‘revelation’ a whole cosmological myth has developed over the last 50 years.

Later, another story surfaced regarding the transfer of humans to the planet Serpo, supposedly a planet of the Zeta Reticuli star system. Folks, it’s just not true, this is a myth involving government disinfo agents and other interested parties; they are using this myth to divert and confuse the UFO community. That’s the way it’s always worked, whether its underground bases in Dulce New Mexico, or other things. In fact, the whole Dulce issue came about through the Paul Bennewitz affair; and if you know anything about that you also know that government agents drove Paul Bennewitz to the point of insanity with stories about aliens and alien invasions. The story of secret underground bases in New Mexico and elsewhere is a myth derived from the same people who drove poor Mr. Bennewitz crazy with tales of aliens working with the U.S. Military. Here is a secret: it was all a cover for secret military projects–and that’s no big secret!

We are being deceived by the alien myth–by the government, people in the alien myth money-making business (such as TV and radio shows, UFO conferences, etc.), and dark spiritual powers. All of them are profiting handsomely from the myth, especially the dark powers.

The Bible reveals the true identity of the Host of Heaven:

God is called the Lord of Hosts:

  • And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left (1 Kings 22:19).
  • Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts (Psalm 148:2).
  • Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure (Ps. 103:20-21).
  • Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee (Nehemiah 9:6). Note: planets and stars do not worship God, but angels do.
  • And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God…(Luke 2:13).
  • Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:10).

As you have just seen, the Hosts of Heaven does not always refer to the planets, moon, and stars; but to the angels dwelling in the heavenly regions. The Host of Heaven are called the “tsaba’ shamayim”–the organized angels or army of the heavens. According to Gesenius , tsaba’ refers to the host of heaven (the  angels  ) who stand around the Throne of God.

The Host of Heaven is also called the “army of the sky” or the “celestial armies.” {2} God is called the Lord of Hosts, and as such He is the “Divine  Warrior and the God of the Armies,” the celestial armies of heaven. {2}

We must also  realize that the fallen hosts are organized under the authority of Satan, the great red Dragon of Revelation. The text goes on to say that his tail drew a third part of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth…(Rev. 12:3-4).

Notice that the stars (another name for angels) are cast to the earth. The Apostle John wrote this under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit–so the Spirit of God is revealing here that the fallen angels who followed Satan in his rebellion did not flee to Zeta Reticuli or any other place in the cosmos–they came to earth–AND THEY ARE STILL HERE PRETENDING TO BE ALIENS FROM THE CONSTELLATION ORION, OR ZETA RETICULI.

Ever since the fall humans have desired to know the secrets of the heavens. By that statement I am referring not to the secrets of the stars or planets that fill the heavens; I am referring to the supernatural knowledge of the Host of Heaven, the beings who dwell in the heavenly regions.

It is as if we humans somehow believe we were shortchanged in the fall, and as a consequence we deserve to have special knowledge about God and the universe. Now, I believe that God has ordained that we search out creation for understanding; that’s the original purpose of science–to understand humanity and the natural universe. And there is nothing wrong with that, in fact, when science is used correctly mankind benefits (as in the healing arts), and our understanding and appreciation for God is realized.

What I am referring to are those who desire to go beyond the boundaries set up for man.  An example of this are those who attempt to gain knowledge through supernatural means, in other words, seeking for knowledge from ‘otherworldly sources’ such as angels, the dead (necromancy), and aliens. The Apostle Paul understood this desire for unlawful knowledge and condemned seeking knowledge from angels and other occult sources.

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind… (Colossians 2:18).

The worship of angelic beings is here condemned by the Apostle. The Jewish sages wrote reams of pages about angels and the supposed role of angels as mediators for man or between man and God. Paul knew this because of his position among the Jews and his education in the Law and the commentaries of the Rabbi’s.

He also condemns a false show of humility, you know the kind–like the false prophet who is trying to beguile you with a “word from the Lord.” Or, the man or woman who comes into your fellowship and pretends to have had a revelatory vision, or, perhaps they may even claim to have spoken with an angel. Just a cursory internet search will reveal many false prophets just like that–“an angel appeared to me and said this or that.”

In reality this activity will inevitably lead to the worship of angels, and may even lead to the practice of invoking angels–for their knowledge and power. The problem is, how do you know whether it’s an unfallen angel or a fallen one? Truth is, you don’t, because of the power of deception and spiritual manipulation by fallen angelic sources; and that’s why the Apostle condemns angel worship, or contacting angels–spiritism is just a dangerous practice and it always leads to disaster of one kind or another.

330px-John_Dee_AshmoleanConsider for a moment an example from history. Some of you have probably heard of Dr. John Dee (1527-1608, or 1609 depending on the source). He was an Advisor to Queen Elizabeth I, and, according to Wikipedia, “Dee immersed himself in the worlds of magic, astrology and Hermetic philosophy. He devoted much time and effort in the last thirty years or so of his life to attempting to commune with angels in order to learn the universal language of creation and bring about the pre-apocalyptic unity of mankind. A student of the Renaissance Neo-Platonism of Marsilio Ficino, Dee did not draw distinctions between his mathematical research and his investigations into Hermetic magic, angel summoning and divination. Instead he considered all of his activities to constitute different facets of the same quest: the search for a transcendent understanding of the divine forms which underlie the visible world, which Dee called “pure verities”.” {1, emphasis added}

Dee, although a genius in his own right, and one of the most educated and learned men of his day, sought after knowledge in the wrong way. He tried to gain insight into the secrets of the creation apart from God, and instead sought out knowledge from angelic beings. In reality though, the angelic beings Dee communed with were fallen angels. In fact, the knowledge Dee and his colleague Edward Kelly gained from the angels is still used even today by occultists. Clearly the beings Dee and Kelly communed with were not from God.

Dee and Kelly developed a special language they called Enochian, which they claimed was revealed to them by angels. It is very telling that the methods they used to contact angels were occult to the core, and out of all of this they developed a complex system of ceremonial magic called Enochian Magic which later influenced The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and legendary occultist Aleister Crowley. The methods used by these occultists are still influencing practitioners of ritual and ceremonial magic today.

As a result of his traffic with spirits Dee and Edward Kelly ended up swapping wives for a short time–and this immoral activity was done because the angels commanded them to do it. Later in his life Dee became a disillusioned and broken man. He died at the age of 82 attended only by his daughter Katherine.

I hope you can see from this example that Dee and Kelly were not in communication with godly spirits, but fallen beings, who led both men and their wives to live in adultery. Clearly that is not biblical nor was it godly. Only wicked spirits would lead to this kind of activity. While the life of John Dee is very fascinating, it should serve as a reminder that traffic with fallen angels is costly, both in this life and the life to come.

The Bible reveals that the ancient Israelites also sought after and worshipped fallen angels. God warned the Jewish nation not to worship the Host of Heaven, or the angelic beings, whether fallen or unfallen.

  • And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven (Deuteronomy 4:19).
  •  And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded (Deuteronomy 17:3).
  • And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal (2 Kings 17:16).

The Bible is very clear that Israel succumbed to idolatry and other evils through the worship of the Host of Heaven.  In my book, Alien Antichrist, I wrote, ” The worship of the heavenly bodies was more than just offering obeisance to the sun and moon, or the various stars and constellations. These were merely the symbolic representations of the fallen gods. The gods they worshipped were fallen angels and the stars in the heavens were the cosmological mythology built around those gods.” {2}
