BEELZEBUB: LORD OF THE FLIES AND THE COMING ALIEN DELUSION by Jeff Wingo

Have you ever thought about the reality of the spiritual war that rages on planet earth? I’m sure that you have, and if you are a born-again, Spirit filled Christian I know that you have. But have you really considered what will happen once Bible prophecy begins to play out?

We often believe that the world will continue as it always has. Yet the Prophetic Word makes some startling claims. Will there be an actual Antichrist? Will there be a real man filled with the spirit of Satan, one who will assume the role of the Second Beast of Revelation, the False Prophet? Will there be a seven-year Covenant with death and hell between Israel, the False Prophet, and the Alien Antichrist Beast?

All of those things are a part of Bible prophecy, therefore they will come to pass. Just as other prophecies of the Bible stand as a testimony to the accurate predictive power of the Word of God, other prophecies yet to be fulfilled are waiting in the wings for their completion as well.

Did you know that the Pharisees accused Jesus of using the power of the Devil to work miracles?

Of course Jesus rightfully rebuked the Pharisees, and as an interesting side note, this is where the Jewish leadership of the day fully rejected the Messiah. Not only did they reject their King, but they committed the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit by saying that His power was not from God, but the Devil.

Beelzebub was a god of the Philistines and his chief place of worship was located in Ekron about 25 miles west of Jerusalem. In fact, king Ahaziah was injured in a fall “and he sent messengers, (to Ekron) and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease” (2 Kings 1:2). The giving of oracles was  associated with Baalzebub by the flight or buzz of a fly, and that is probably why Ahaziah sent messengers to inquire of it. However, this rightfully angered the Lord and so He sent the prophet Elijah to the king saying, “Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?” Incredible story isn’t it! Why would the king consult with the lord of the flies and not the Lord God of Israel, the Creator of the heavens and the earth? Ahaziah chose the buzz of an insect over the Word of God!

And that is what many are doing today as they look to the stars for answers through aliens and UFOs and other things like astrology, etc. Instead of prayerfully seeking help from the Lord God Himself, the Creator of the heavens and the Earth, they seek help from the creation, through the mechanistic movements of dead lifeless planets (although beautiful to behold as is all of creation) and through contemporary versions of spiritism like channeling to contact beings who claim to be aliens on one hand and dearly departed Aunt Martha on the other.

Beelzebub, also known as Beelzebul or Baalzebub, was known as the “lord of the flies–Beel or Baal meaning lord, and zebub meaning to fly, or flit from place to place. It was believed that Baalzebub could drive away flies but also that he could send them as a curse upon an enemy. Archeological sites have even uncovered golden fly images that were used in worship to this idol. The name also suggests lord of the (lofty) habitation or dwelling,  meaning of this lower world, which is why Beelzebub was associated with Satan the prince of the power of the air (Eph.2:2). {2}

Consider that Beelzebub was used as a title for Satan and the demonic realm because it aptly describes his activity as the lord of the flies or the lord of those that flit from place to place.  The title “the prince of the power of the air” is literally, “the one who is the ruler in the realm of authority of the earth’s atmosphere.” That is the domain of Satan and the fallen host of heaven at his command.

In my book Alien Antichrist, I go to great lengths to demonstrate that Satan rules the upper regions of the atmosphere which surrounds earth. He is literally the ruler of the air during the present age. Now, don’t you find it incredible that legitimate UFO activity occurs in the sky, the air of our atmosphere? And that UFOs tend to fly or flit from place to place, much like the activity that was attributed to ancient Beelzebub.

The Bible reveals that Beelzebub, also known as Lucifer the Light-Bearer, desired to rise above all of creation and make himself equal with God. But the Lord would have none of it and Satan found himself cast down to the atmospheric regions of the Earth.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.  Isaiah 14:13-14

The Prophet answers the desire of Satan by saying, “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit” (Is. 14:15).  His final doom will be the sides of the pit, the pit of the Abyss as John disclosed in the Revelation 20:1-4.  In the meantime though, Satan rules the upper regions of our atmosphere in the spiritual realm.

He is a Cherub who wanted to fly to the lofty heights, usurp the heavenly domain of Almighty God, and receive worship from humanity just like God; and he still desires those things.

Beelzebub is the Lord of the Flies, the ancient Fly-god of the Philistines, and he rules the atmosphere which is filled with spiritual flies who manifest from time to time as UFO and alien activity. Presently he receives worship and attention from humans who long for alien contact. He deceives those who use occult means such as channeling to contact alien beings; and his methods of deception will lead the world to accept him as an alien god one day. That day may not be far off. Once the prophetic hammer falls, and the restrainer of 2 Thessalonians 2:6,7 is removed alien disclosure will occur. At that point in time nothing will restrain him from manifesting as the alien god that was predicted in the book of Daniel (11:39; nekar eloahh literally refers to the coming of an alien god). {3}

There is an interesting parallel between Beelzebub, alien disclosure, and the plagues of Egypt. In Egypt God sent swarms of flies as a judgment.  Egypt was corrupted by the plague of flies, they filled the land from one end to the other–flitting, swarming flies. When Satan and his fallen angels are finally cast out of the heavens they will visibly manifest in our atmosphere and our planet will be corrupted by a plague of flitting swarming flies lead by Beelzebub, the Lord of the Flies.
